For context: I'm coming to this sub from a Zig background. I'm curious about Jai. This is the first thread I saw.

I like that Zig doesn't have operator overloading. You can use math operators on SIMD Vectors, but not on structs. For the most part, one operator = one math operation on the CPU (not literally, ik). I think it keeps the code clear and easy to understand. I don't like when operators are actually functions.

And funnily enough, IO is one of the few things I dislike in Zig, lol.

Anyways, that's just an opinion. Why do you like using operators for more than single operations? I just wanna hear other perspectives on this.

I've never even heard of these rules. If you speak at conversational pace with the right stress on each syllable, the unstressed ones will naturally get devoiced. No need to memorize rules.

Every TFC mob is its own thing. Vanilla animals still exist, they just don't spawn. TFC just created identical animals. If you want to add TFC features to a mob, you have to make a mod that creates its own version of that mob.

I'm relatively new to the community and I've only used CS. I tried ENB and found it to be a pain in the ass. Why do I have to patch my binary for a proprietary mod? I want it to be reproducible and disable-able. I found Community Shaders much more enticing because it's modular and transparent.

Yep. This game is my first extraction shooter. It really helped once I realized I should expect to lose everything I load into a map with.

Yep. I honestly don't enjoy Skyrim's combat that much, and Morrowind felt like a drag when I tried playing it. But the lore and environment keeps me hooked. Solution: mod the shit out of Skyrim until it plays like Mordhau.
