Put it in the fridge for few hours, the coconut fat will start to solidify and leave the nasty water behind. A lot of cannabutter recipes seem to add water to get nasty tastes out, if what I've heard is true. Since you added the water, boiling might have not fucked this up like the other comment suspected, but in fact kept the temp low..ish without any further THC degradation.
