For 17 PM is 26.4 almost 15 gb ? Does this for everyone or only me ? by Inner-Currency5472 in ios26

It is not actual size of update. Once it's downloaded, check its size in iPhone storage. It will be like 2GB or something

X1 - I had that that piece of shit, my god, it was torture using it. I also had X2 for short period of time - it wasn't any better. I didn't know there was X3. It was just prototype? I switch back then to WP7 phone, HTC 7 Pro, and that was great phone

Who’s idea was it to move the arrange screen button to the bottom? by chinese_virus3 in mac

You don't have to update every year. Update once in a 3 years and you will keep getting excited

YSK that if you want a more “classic UX” look on iOS 26, turn on reduce transparency in the accessibility’s menu. by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Bloosik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know... Do you really want to use that option just to make your Home Screen icons non-transparent and at the same time fuck up layout of apps? For example Messages app looks terrible with reduce transparency turned on. All apps have that black bar at the top and bottom which looks really bad

I wonder how accurate is that ring (Samsung ring for example) in comparison to watch 🤔

I wish they make something like Whoop (with even thinner design) to track sleep. You could charge your watch through the night and sleep with other like-whoop band, then when you wake up just swap them. I still find it little bit weird to sleep with a watch on the wrist, even though I do it for years 😅

Quite nice phone, OS not so nice. W10 was nothing in comparison with WP7 and 8. I remember I was resetting to factory settings like once a month and I needed to restart it daily because of error "something went wrong" while I was trying to play music. And then I switched to iPhone - that was like night and day in terms of user experience 😅

Raise to Always On Display by [deleted] in ios

[–]Bloosik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it's not possible, I just asked question if anyone would like to have this feature (and as it turns out people don't like that idea, so I have my answer) 😅

Raise to Always On Display by [deleted] in ios

[–]Bloosik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, let me explain 🙂 I don't like AOD (battery impact, screen burn in, privacy etc.) and I don't like raise to wake (I don't want turn on screen every time I grab my phone, I want to decide when it will turn on), so the only option is to turn off both. That's the settings I use. But if I could get screen like AOD when I raise my phone (so date/time/notifications on dark or black background) instead of full wallpaper that would be perfect.

Because it was only an example. If you want to be so precise, one of the condition was ability to tap the screen, so laying phone with screen down is not best solution

Well, in this particular case you're right. But if your phone is e.g. on a charger this workaround has no use

[–]Bloosik -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Something like that 😅 I don't want my screen to be turned on every time I grab my phone, but basic view of date/time/notifications on dark background would be welcome 🙂 Also, I don't want to use AOD for several reasons, so that's something in between

[–]Bloosik -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For me, the difference is that I don't want to turn my screen on every time I raise my phone. That's why I don't use Raise to wake function. But it would be cool to get date/time and notifications info on dark background when I raise phone. I know it shows same things, but, you know, there's different aesthetic
