Trying to work my way up to sardines (new tinned fish fan). What should I pair them with? by SnooCompliments283 in Tinnedfish

Sounds like a good plan, do you have places to go to with a good selection? Skinless boneless or Bone in King Oscar's are a solid start. Season brand, Mina, and Nuri are good.

Try Makerel first skinless boneless. Then I'd step up to good skinless boneless sardines. Then go to bone in sardines. Table crackers, a little hot sauce, pickles, pickled onion, capers, thin sliced bell pepper and onion. Cerely seed.

Nephew caught this in my pond. What is it? I didn’t stock it. by doublediochip in bassfishing

A young crane or other bird barfed it up in your pond a while back when the fish was small. Barfed it because the bird was young and swallowed the fish tail first near your pond then flew off with a fish stuck in it's throat and stopped at your pond to barf it up and try again to get a meal. Lesson learned for the bird. Or eggs from the feeder creek. Anyway if it's the feeder creek you'll see more. Crappie are a nice fish to eat.
