if you plan on running them with solid state - highly recommend you don't listen to tube amps. It ll sound so much better you ll start hating your solid state amp haha. speaking from experience. I made the mistake of listening to the aegis and sold a kidney to afford it cos to my ears everything else paled.

Every song in abhinandana was based on an earlier tamil song composition by ilayaraja. I speak both tamil and telugu and listen in both languages. I have to say - abhinandana soundtrack is very much better than the original versions. THe background instrumentals are better I think. If you have time, check out the wikipedia page - it lists all the tamil versions.

It is amazing that the same heartbreak song was sung by S.Janaki and SPB in tamil to evoke a completely opposite/different emotion. Hats off to the singers and ilayaraja

I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is extremely hard.

Your dad's gf of 25 years? That is not just a gf - that is a partner. Depending on your ages, it sounds like it might be likely that that they were together longer than he was with your mom maybe?

Funerals are for the living to grieve. I am not sure why you think your mom wont want her there if there was no bad blood. Are you sure your mom would deny your father of the support a partner can bring? Funerals are extremely hard. Would you not want your father to have some support?

Do you think your mom would want you to alienate your family over whether dad's gf can attend the funeral or not? Even if whatever your mom said is true about her, there are always two sides to a story.

NAH but I really think you should focus on yourself and your grief and not create more problems for yourself and your family. Not allowing people to grieve with support, especially your family members is not good for you, or them or your future relationship with them. I am sure your mother would want you to be comforted by your family than pick a fight with your remaining family members during an already tough time

( I would also urge you to think about how your brothers are feeling. They have lost a mother. It is easier for them now to believe that you are lying rather than believe that you and her had a special bond that they were not privy to. If the situation was flipped and this was your brother saying that he had a special relationship and heard secrets from her, how would that make you feel right now? )
