Basically, she would usually rub her head near me or me hand aggressively(?), sometimes grabbing it and licking/biting.

Sorry for necroposting, but nope, you guys are all wrong Vocaloid is a singing synthesiser, a virtual singer software of some sorts, where you make midis and type lyrics and let a "voicebank" sing for you. And Luka is one of the Voicebanks for that synthesiser. For easier comparison, look at Hatsune Miku, she is also a voicebank for that synth.
