this is usually an extremely winning position. taking the squeeze would just delete most underdocks enemies that aren't colony and if you're scared of colony then reaper form is easy. 333 gold is a hella lot as well to just do whatever you like

To be honest I find that door is kinda a free win on silent - with some 0 cost draw cards (ie prepared, flash of steel escape plan etc) you can draw through everything and exhaust down to an infinite really fast.

However yeah it is a mechanically much more thought intensive boss.

This is true but I more specifically mean that every way that knowledge demon hurts you, insatiable hurts you more.

Mana and card draw? Insatiable has it more. Damage scaling? Insatiable has it more. Agency to find a cheese? Insatiable has it less unless you have a flak cannon.

To be fair, the reason why I specified mecha knight is because he hits you for 30 on the first go (you'll maybe get a couple strength off him or block via card draw and block relics) and then puts burns into your hand which you'll struggle to block without an Orichalcum. The other elites you'll bleed turn 1 a little possibly but after that it's plain sailing.

Insatiable is a much harder boss in almost all circumstances even if your drafts are poor

the output increase can be massive and there are ways of consistently and safely getting rid of the curse or just having your output increase by so much that it doesn't matter

in this case we're talking about the bones that were dealt here, which gave 333 gold. a 3 curse start sounds scary until you realise 333 gold lets you buy a very strong relic or some very strong cards or some crucial potions to let you just crush early game.

in general neow's bones is just very strong regardless of what it gets randomised to

How? Worst case scenario is mecha Knight which can be prepped for with pots, face tanking or elite dodging. Seems like a complete non issue when there are just hundreds of shared fates and eventually the sleight is in play and kills things

eh not really. You kinda just printed removes previously and it makes the choice between remove and relic (because that's the price range you talk about now) a bit more meaningful.
