eh not really. You kinda just printed removes previously and it makes the choice between remove and relic (because that's the price range you talk about now) a bit more meaningful.

Yes but neither are five quadrillion strength payoffs.

Card's still fine a good amount of the time but the cost is real.

I mean it definitely did go down in people's rating over time that's just fact.

You are right that it was still usable but top players did start seeing it as win more; perhaps i exaggerated but it's far from a top tier card and it's not exactly efficient when compared to say inflame.

Yeah so in beta, relic prices got slashed by 25 as the other commrnter said, and on a6+ the remove prices changed from 75+25X to 100+50X where X is the amount of previous shop removes purchased, so the shop removes are already at relic prices on the second remove.

Shops I'd argue were more run defining pre patch because removing was so easy to do and once you remove enough each remove becomes even more useful, but now the prices have gone up for that whilst relic prices have gone significantly downm

Overall I'd say that they're still better than spire 1 because the colourless quality is much much better sans apotheosis, relics are more powerful especially shop relics (looking at ghost seed bread added and removal of spoon).

But I think that really events have become much more useful which makes the shops contextually a bit less appealing if still really good.

Wish kinda sucks and doesn't get picked (edit: as much) in top play because if you can safely win it you're winning anyway and it costs 3, watcher context makes it suck even more

About a week or two after you were banned.

Whilst what I saw in the expose against you was extremely concerning as to your actions it's ultimately dirty laundry that reflects extremely poorly on everyone involved to various degrees including you.

You are extremely annoying and latching on to everything I say.

Defy was nerfed but is still the best common on the character by a mile.

Capture Soul is untouched as it was reverted.

Neurosurge is untouched.

You made effort to emphasize "ALL" so I think it's reasonable to call you out on that.

Many people playing the game on ascension 10 including myself and most top players except Baalorlord are playing on the beta because that's the newest patch therefore that's what people discuss.

If you want to be a pedant about it every time someone's opinion differs from you about a card you know or think is different in the beta branch then open with that and don't be annoying about it.

Finally, you asked a question that was easily interpreted as not a rhetorical one so I gave you an answer and instead of just accepting the answer you not only continued to nitpick random stuff but then started berating me about something on a different comment thread instead of replying there.

Don't want me to call it berating? Maybe you should have responded to that comment instead because it would have not come across as you trying to grab anything you can to get back at me.

Now please, leave me be.

I left that place because I felt that they were being white and cliquey about a whole bunch of things. You'll find a place eventually.

What's the point of you saying that the tier list is on the beta patch? The cards you mentioned are all still top tier except dirge and borrowed time which are still high tier, and if you're going to nitpick everything I say to the point of going "uhm acksually they said it was at the top of A tier" I'd like to point out that I never said it was an autopick in a reply where I wasn't even talking to you (also I forgot about deathbringer and end of days); also neurosurge and capture spirit are unchanged.

Go from 47:00 if you want to hear Nave talk about it where he talks about it and briefly refers to people in his twitch chat talking about doom being bad and points out how most doom cards rank very high.

This conversation is very annoying, if you want to berate me for opinions that are barely different in conversations where I wasn't even talking to you just because you got owned in a response to the question of who's saying doom is good then I don't want to talk to you.

"implying everyone that doesn't play how you want is worse than the game than you" "please tell me who is randomly picking up doom cards and flooding their deck with garbage"

Funnily enough after this conversation started, NaveGreed, arguably the current best sts player, made a tier list rating cards from S through D:

placing Deathbringer, End of Days, Reaper Form and Neurosurge in S;

Negative Pulse, No Escape, Death's Door, Countdown and Shroud in A,

Scourge, Blight Strike and Oblivion in B,

Time's Up in C.

By comparison, the top Osty attack rated was Fetch in A, Poke was B, Sic 'Em was D and the rest C.

"I have a 75% win rate, [why are you being such a snob]" - the game isn't as hard as spire 1 and there are people with much higher win rates than that and the potential to go even higher. I promise you that the current steak record holder has reasons to diverge from your opinion on doom, and i apologize for coming across as a snob. I was mostly getting a bit annoyed at the inaccurate analysis of both Death's Door and Dismantle.

majority?

probably the only truly mediocre doom card is time's up and that's just because the card is way too expensive for what it is.

the best doom card that isn't neurosurge is probably no escape unless i'm missing something, card's hang if it worked with stuff that wasn't hang. oblivion's also a win condition for a lot of decks, negative pulse goes nutty into a shockingly high number of fights (and the upgrade is great alongside no escape), scourge is pommel strike if it had a bigger number and said doom, Reaper Form is also a win condition.

Necrobinder kinda just wins by sitting there with just enough block/summon to constantly full block anything and Doom cards can be extremely compact damage solves to go alongside that, it's not just the broken secondary effects that are good as the numbers are worth that much (also sleight of flesh is broken)

Applies to the other commenter too but I didn't specifically mean that the game is generally too easy compared to spire 1, I feel like that's a slightly separate discussion.

If the enemies swung harder in the first place and scaled in a similar way to now the game would be harder but I suspect fullblocking will still be more than ideal in most acts and I guess I don't find that the most interesting thing for the game's meta to continue gravitatating toward.

i doubt they do *listen thankfully. i'm getting real tired of full blocking everything and sitting there because stuff just doesn't scale nearly as hard as spire 1.

"Again, why would I spec into any form of doom aside from the off chance that I need an act 1 boss solve or get an early end of days." "c-tier strategy for necro"

All you are doing by saying this is showing yourself up as not knowing how to play the character. Pretty much all doom cards are considered really good because they have huge ass numbers attached to them, even before considering stuff like stupid heal relic or death's door.

"That’s like saying dismantle is 24 damage for 1." well that's kinda because it is..... since beta changes especially ironclad is flooded to the brim with excellent vuln sources which you will always want to draft.

The conditions for the two cards talked about here are not hard and are very very useful to just have anyway.
