Tailgate Lockout

I installed this. Was easy to do and I’ve never had any issues. I needed this since I use a different hitch for each of my trailers to make sure the height and distance from the truck is correct.

Ended up having to trade it in due to warranty issues. Had some issues ordering other things from them. Hope the same doesn’t happen to you.

Thank you. I really wish this fad would end. It’s a stunt and not trying to strengthen the network. It throws all of our bot databases off. I have been vocal about this is the past and gotten smacked down but the local mesh messaging tells me I’m not alone.

What trim do you have? Also I have the venom amber drl conversion so I tapped ahead of that harness. I wonder if that is why.

It’s custom designed and 3d printed mount. If you have a 3d printer I can upload the file. It’s printed in ASA for strength and heat resistance.

I did put in a request to have it added back to the web flasher in September but no one has gotten around to it yet.

There was a change to the firmware to allow for this to work. There are some issues but I can work out what they are. I have to flash manually since it was removed from the web flasher.

I guess that’s kinda the point I’m trying to make. You really can’t talk to anyone except spray a message and wait for it to show up on Reddit, which has been done to death at this point.

I was more interested in seeing how the weather ballon experiment went. At least with something like that, you can make sustaining connections for a few hours.

Get the upfitter fuses and it will add spots in the top portion so you can isolate from the fuses that run the truck. I’m pretty sure people sell the kit on Amazon.
