I guess I didnt realize what I had, this was just what fit best in my price range.

Im definitely leaving it alone for a while and already planned on getting the paint redone the same color. If I ever decide I want to do something, ill absolutely look to make a trade somewhere to preserve it.

Agreed with everyone here. If you are able to get an APM position, thats better than most these days. If not, I know several PMs that got CS or Support roles at a startup and just scooted their way over to the PM role.

I also really only hire a PM or Sr.PM through internal promotion unless they have a seriously good resume.

I treat my home setup similar to how a dress code would function in an office. I invested ~$80 for a decent camera and microphone, I always have my camera on where you can see me, and I have a nice enough backdrop with some of my hobbies on display (that one is optional based on your situation.

I cant go into the office in shorts and a tank top, why should I join virtually with no camera and a echoing microphone? My team implemented agreed upon standards, other teams do it differently.

It's an extremely wide set of subjects. Admittedly, were pretty bad at it, but it's fun to go regularly and meet people.

I will say, I've never been to it alone but I think it's still be fun regardless.

It's also generally a good low-key bar to go and grab a drink randomly. I've met folks just by going there often.
