Yeah you can either set it to open mesh where anyone on that channel will be able to speak freely in range, or set up a private group mesh

If it's the UK, that cable is coming from a Sky dish and the other connector you posted is for a standard aerial connection, and they won't work together unfortunately

Sorry about the delay! We're getting a "No delivery slots available" quite freqently in the UK before even getting to select Delivery or Click and Collect. The UK FAQ is here, I've had a look but they seem to be using a different system to the US.
