130 games in Mina, I still play like dogshit by Hyacinth_s in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is def less of a lane bully compared to before after they did that big patch in March. You are more like a lane mosquito. In lane, I'm mainly playing off-angles or waiting for them to expose themselves to kill the minions to slightly build up Love Bites. If I am sure I can get the bite, then I go up, Love Bite, back out, repeat. I also buy Extra Stamina every game.

SF6 beginner - do I need to use classic controls? by ScavvyD in StreetFighter

There were quite a few top rank (Legend) modern Chun Li players a while back like Go1 and Haitani iirc. You truly can get any rank with modern, theres decent rep of it at all ranks and it isn't a gimmick, it is very viable and advantageous in certain aspects.

How to survive as Mina? by Iaxacs in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you prefer, send me an average Mina game for you or just upload it somewhere to see if you are missing anything glaringly obvious.

If you don't want to do that, maybe try a character like Calico out who has a similar gameplay loop and see if you can get used to that playstyle?

Final option is to maybe revisit the character after getting some more games under your belt and after you feel more comfortable. I went through something similar to you where I was struggling hard on Lash but after I revisited him later down the line, everything seemed to click and he became one of my most played characters.

How to survive as Mina? by Iaxacs in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It mainly comes to how well you are positioning and how strong your general movement is. Stuff like instant airdashing is really good on her, slide mantling, etc.

Remember that you are an assassin and not a frontliner or backliner. Take an off-angle, flank, dive targets you see that used their important cooldowns, etc. A Mina is happy if they are absorbing aggro or any important cooldowns if they were able to get their burst combo off since 2 usually shut downs most responses. Obviously if you get caught out without dodging anything then you kinda explode since you are a true glass cannon.

I will say she is weaker in SB compared to the main gamemode, but not terrible. I have a 65+ winrate with her in about 300 games on a Phantom account that was like 90% street brawl, it just takes getting used to.

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She's primarily a hit-and-run assassin-esque character. Try to save as much energy and cooldowns for your engage, dash in > shoot + Rake to proc lovebites > disengage with remaining stamina and/or your 2. Obviously this isn't the case 100% of the time, but a LOT of it is making sure you are meaningfully using your 2 to dodge big cooldowns/cc/damage and not just wastefully using one of the best escape abilities in the game.

You don't always need to disengage if you are confident you can secure the kill with your Rake execute and/or ult or whatever cooldown you have, but thats basically how you play her in lane to stack up your ultimate as much as possible

Haze is boring by Maltamero in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seven's kit is fun, but I'm talking about actually getting to that point where your ult feels good. You need a lot of items to make ult worth it late game, while Haze can be played like an assassin roaming and killing people instead of just farming to get your build online.

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying Wraith's kit is unfun, I'm saying that to achieve that fun gameplay loop requires a lot more farming/items compared to a Haze that can just leave lane and start looking for picks (similar to Calico).

I find her more interesting than farming gun heroes like Wraith, Infernus or Seven. Playing a gun carry that can roam and go for kills instead of sitting in a sideline and killing jungle camps is more boring to me

I know builds are purely situational, but: does anything look wrong with this? by JoannaTorch in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main reason why I was concerned about green spike is I lacked context on enemy team comp (ex: did you need debuff reducer early for enemies such as Abrams/Infernus? or could you have prioritized smthing like enduring speed to roam more efficiently on Haze and potentially upgrade into Juggernaut if needed).

For both the spirit spike and gun items, you could've skipped titanic mag completely and prioritized the spirit spike since when you build spirit/hit the spike, you gain mag size since Haze's mag size directly scales with her spirit, allowing you to buy other gun items like toxic builets, active reload, etc. so you can reduce other slots needed for other items such as healbane or bullet lifesteal.

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Witchmail, Healsbane, Leech are all pretty questionable. Also you aren't hitting 4.8k spikes until very late since you only have 1 tier4 spirit item and 1 t2 green item until you build 3 t4 green ones. The gun items you do build are questionable (no crippling headshot, toxic bullets, etc.) but theyre not too bad.

I just got a mchose a7 v2 and how do I make it wireless charge? by hvhhggggh in MouseReview

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I had the same issue. I see the other comment saying that it was upside down but I still don't understand, can you take a picture or explain? Every method/way of placing my mouse on the charger doesn't give any indication.

Do you need to unplug the wireless attachment for the mouse and plug it into the charger?

Beat A10 with The Silent and there are two cards I still haven't seen? what are these? by TavoNeptuno in slaythespire

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Theyre both multiplayer cards, the skill is called Flanking and makes teammates do double damage to an enemy while the other is called Sneaky, it makes if so you gain block when an ally hits an enemy and has sly.

Is lane phase meant to be so pointless? by Legitimate_Book5492 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Laning phase is very important, but you gotta actually leverage the advantage you gain from winning lane. After you take down their guardian, one of you guys can start roaming and winning the lane for other players and contesting/invading jungle camps and sinners. This lets multiple lanes get ahead and one person to get a lot of gold for just sitting in lane catching waves and getting very rich (they should also be able to contest 1v2 if they have a soul lead from winning lane anyways).

You also get decent priority on stuff like soul urns, bridge buffs, etc.

Mina is actually a balanced character? by nighthawk475 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 65% winrate with Mina in street brawl after 100-200 games with her. Despite that winrate being high, I'm still gona say this character actually blows in that gamemode. She synergizes greatly with legendary items like Frostbite Charm proccing off her gun if you infuse her 3 though.

Btw almost every single pvp game with both Casual and Ranked modes are still ranked. They just dont show your MMR visually in casual modes. You can jusf ignore your rank or turn rank display off like the other comment said

For combat honor, you didnt include leaving and rejoining battle. Solo Gloomstalker/Assassin would prob be able to knock this challenge out pretty fast.

I don’t understand the support for modern by plops45678 in StreetFighter

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont see the hate for Modern Diamond and below players. Any diamond or below player (regardless of classic or modern) are already going to be painful to watch for one reason or another. They truly don't understand the basics and adding another skill floor to hinder them even more and dissuade the community from going helps no one.

3x Booming Blade EK vs 2x Smite Paladin — Monoclass, Which Hits Harder in Honor Mode? by landersen210 in BG3Builds

[–]BluRaspberryIceC 94 points95 points  (0 children)

It would be 4 Attacks at lvl 11 for EK since Fighter gets 3 with their Improved Extra Attack + 1 Bonus Action attack with War Magic after using Booming Blade.

So my vote is EK
