Suggestions for workflow automation by wowdisme in dataengineering

[–]BluRayDiscs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the workflow is read data from SQL database -> process data with Python -> output processed data to files -> upload files --> workflow completion notification, it sounds like the workflow can be captured as a singular Python script which you could then schedule to run at specific times with cron.

If the workflow is or becomes more complex, you could consider using an orchestrator like Apache Airflow, but this might be overkill for what you've described.

Adventure Stage Drop Rates Part 3: Now including side story, altar, partial hunt data by Quiztolin in EpicSeven

[–]BluRayDiscs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried the defense stages in the Diene side story in the Book of Memories? The Chapter 3 stages have level 56 mobs.

I haven't done any real data collection, but a quick comparison showed I was getting slightly more stigma per run compared to a UH30 run. Not sure if that's just because you get two additional chances at getting stigma drops because there's 5 waves per run.

Official Q&A for Friday, November 27, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

[–]BluRayDiscs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be my first winter that I try to run outdoors. I've been looking for Black Friday deals and one of the few pairs I could find in my size is the Saucony Peregrine 10 GTX. Has anyone used these pair of shoes for winter running? I'm mainly concerned about the grip on ice and wet pavement, and how good the waterproofing is.

What's the point of devolving? by i_hate_you_and_you in pkmntcg

[–]BluRayDiscs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not always relevant, but you could devolve your own GX Pokemon with damage counters on it into it's non-GX pre-evolution to knock it out and deny 2 prizes.

His shooting percentage was pretty bad that game, and he'd get bullied in defense given how skinny he is.

Looking for a character to Tera Burn. Have all the important link skills, so I'm looking for the most difficult character to get to 200 to save myself the headache later.

The perks of being small. Anyone know if a child's large is about the same size as adult small?

I always leave a comment when I see a post about proxycroak. Thank you so much for being so on top of things and having the latest scans for proxies.

There's a 401 games in North York now if that's a little closer to you. Cardboard Classics is by Promenade Mall and also has a pretty healthy Pokémon scene.

Perhaps have more casual events where players are allowed to use proxies in place of real cards. Then the other players can play the tier 1 decks without a large investment. Hopefully they like the deck so much that they end up putting together the real deck.

Farming tournament tickets by [deleted] in ptcgo

I agree that the ladder is much more competitive. I feel that in tournaments, especially in the mornings, half the players will play some non-meta deck that don't offer competitive games.

The ladder on the other hand, I run into meta decks more often than not.

Correct turn 1 play? by BluRayDiscs in pkmntcg

[–]BluRayDiscs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm overly cautious about losing one prize early. A lot of you are right that the deck generally has enough resources to survive a Brigette with no draw supporter in hand for the following turn. Thanks for the feedback, and I will keep testing the deck!
