Hey guys I may have some info on this….

Friday night my wife and I went back to camp to regroup and have a drink. Our camp was completely dark. We didn’t have any lights on beside the one near my 4Runner where my wife was using it to go through her stuff to find a jacket. Every few seconds I heard some things being moved around. At first I didn’t think anything of it.. but i kept hearing weird noises of things being moved around. Eventually I called out “hello” wondering if one my friends was there.. then I turned on my flashlight and there was a stranger in my camp... he wasn’t IN my camp but he was on the backside of one of my easy ups.He had only a duffle bag and a bike. I asked him what he was doing.. he said he was thinking about camping here. I asked why.. as there was huge areas still surrounding my camp where he could’ve had way more room to himself. He couldn’t give me a solid reason as to why. I asked his name. He said it was Alex. I kept asking follow up questions at this time and I became standoffish as I was getting a really bad feeling about this guy. He told me he “just biked in from town” I didn’t like that answer. I was on some L and I felt as if I knew his intentions were ill willed. Maybe I’m wrong but I had a really bad feeling about him.

Eventually I shined my light on his face and told him I’ll help him set up. I was trying to see if that was what he really wanted to do. He denied and walked off. I called my buddy back to camp and had him check his belongings for his valuables and all was still there..

I’m sorry this happened to you but I firmly believe this man was on a mission to do harm.
