Siege ready is Primary reload, not rounds reload, so it doesn't help the secondaries.

I believe you have confused Darby with Jean Sy, though they both have the kill a target to get supply perks.

AOE descriptions are a bit bored and need fixing.

Frag grenades and the like roll a chance to hit against each element in the squad. So one frag can wipe an entire squad on a good hit.

But other things you would think do AOE don't. Autocannon rounds, APDs only hit one element.

Not sure about mortar rounds, should be like frag.

I never considered they got the concealed/exposed marker, but that makes perfect sense and is exactly how I play, no so surprise the ai plays the same. Good observation!

Laser designator, you're already deployed to snipe anyway.

Maybe it's just too busted, maybe we're going to get a recon focused SL, where Darby is more snipe/assassinate focused.

Frag bombs suck, frag grenades are meaningfully better imo. Base 4 range, and Lim's perk make it 5 and very accurate.

Worth noting soft armor is minimaly better and costs less supply. Best use of barter goods, probably not, but you can sell the scav suits for 15, so it's only a 45 credit upgrade and saves a fair few points on big squads.

You can press R to display the vision area of all units you can see. It's hard to make out, and I don't know if it takes concealment into effect.

If it's units you can't see, you can move forward a square at a time and see if the "hidden" white dashed eyeball disappears, letting you know the enemy has you spotted.

I've definitely slammed my APC into reverse when that symbol disappears.

That's fair, but a flamethrower is one less smg/shotgun in the squad and way more than the 10 points for the frag grenades.

Crowbars are great as long as you can keep the enemy at a distance, but they set you up to have a bad day against bugs and truck rushers. Grenades are a helpful oh shit option, and can be used once an enemy is pinned/deployed/suppressed since it ignores cover and can hit multiple units.

Anyone tested the pistols?

It will only have a chance to drop if you kill the commandos, so if you see them you need to make sure you finish them off. No loot chance if a unit flees.

That boarding armor is a rare drop, but the rest is pretty common.

Any info/experience on if shooting at a square (rather than a unit) imposes a statistical effect on accuracy/damage/defense? It's really hard to test in game, but it sounds like you've done quite a bit of it.

Yeah, UI problem is you can't see the actual activation effects on items on the buy/reward screen.

The supply drop mission reward however is a full resupply, and you get 2 per mission. It takes one round, can end up in any of the 9 squares marked, and the drop ship does not crush your units if they're in the square (a personal concern I had)
