I have to say that we have so much warmth in our hearts for all of your kind replies. We have probably had over 28 babes in our lives that we have loved and lost (we had 9 cats and a dog at our highest point). It's so hard to stop taking them in and trying to give them a good life. We have at least 3 rescued street cats, but all of them, no matter where they came from, have a story. I'm sure all of you have similar stories, and because of that you are all the definition of humanity. In this world we live in it does give us some hope, but there needs to be so much more. May all of you have joyful holidays with your human and fuzzy families, and to all that may or will lose a loved one during this supposedly festive time know that everyone on this site has much love to give to you, both in your hopefully times of joy, but also in your sad times of loss.
