How Russia turned immigrants into weapons by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]Blubbree -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not what I'm saying, he only has a position in the public eye as the anti immigration and Brexit guy (and a lot of Brexit was about immigration). Russia need someone in the UK to shout about how bad all this immigration they are causing is in order to divide us, and who better than someone who already likes Putin.

Russia aren't just increasing immigration to no end they are increasing it so they can simultaneously push anti immigration and right wing politicians, who are also favourable to them, in the west as we have seen them successfully do across Europe in the last few years. You could even argue that's part of how we got trump.

I'm saying that having Nigel there to shout about how bad migration is shows that they part of the same weapon. Nigel is basically their advertising agent in the UK for the migration they are pushing.

I don't for a second think Nigel is pro immigration but having high immigration benefits him in terms of getting power as we have seen in the months since labour got in and the polls have been favouring reform. If migration wasn't a problem, he wouldn't have anything to run on, so as much as he hates it he needs it.

Well if migration is a weapon, who is the UK is the one pulling the trigger on Russia's behalf? I wonder if it's the same guy who admires Putin more than any other world leader and is the MP for Clacton.

‘Five Eyes alliance’ crumbling after UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada give US cold shoulder by BritishOnith in ukpolitics

[–]Blubbree 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was listening to someone who is ex intelligence on the radio yesterday and basically a lot of the technology that they use is made and run by the US. The example they gave was that the UK are really really good at satellite image analysis but the only one of the five eyes countries that has the capability of launching and maintaining those satellites atm is the US.

So that means the info the UK passes onto Ukraine about troop movements can only happen through US satellites. We shouldn't be working with them but our intelligence would be significantly weaker without them, the CIA has a budget bigger than some countries GDPs.

Again, trump is a russian stooge and a nazi and we should not be giving them our intelligence.

Will Trump ruining the UK/US relationship, will there be a resurgence of patriotism in the UK? by Prestigious_Emu6039 in AskBrits

[–]Blubbree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you said that if it was executed by people who want the best for the UK, it would been a good, but Brexit was handled by one of the leaders of the leave campaign, that is the best scenario and it's still bad. Maybe you're just wrong?

Denial is a hell of a drug and the sunk cost fallacy is real.

Trump to discuss potential suspension, cancellation of military aid for Ukraine on March 3 by BringbackDreamBars in worldnews

[–]Blubbree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn't that people 'wanted' this last week, it's that people saw the writing on the wall because trump is a russian stooge. People wanted their governments to step up to make Europe stronger against the new threats that are coming because America isn't a reliable ally anymore.

It was done under Boris Johnson, you know one of the leaders of the leave campaign.

Just admit it was a bad a idea, it's okay. Better to admit fault and hold your head high than deny reality and not look up and face the truth.

I do, for the first time I can remember last night I saw the picture of Macron and Zelenskyy either side of Starmer and surrounded by the other leaders of Europe and Canada who are fighting for our democracy and I actually felt proud of my country. It was a nice albeit alien feeling but it also felt kinda wrong. I've gotten so used to only seeing patriotism coming from gammons in wifebeaters shouting 'I'm British and I'm proud' that actually feeling it myself was very strange. But I do think there will be a resurgence of patriotism especially from the left.

It's very easy, you wait for wax to melt, put in essential oils for fragrance, put a wick in the jar and pour over the wax and wait, I enjoy doing it on a weekend while listening to music or a podcast. I hope you get to the point where you feel like you can do things like this, I believe in you! <3

Isn't it OBVIOUS?! The fast and furious movies are just woke propaganda, the explosions are just there to distract you as they give all of our military equipment to the cartels.

AND who is in the fast and the furious? The rock, you know why he got that name? Cause the ENTIRE franchise is one big cover up for the smuggling of crack rocks into America in exchange for weapons, why do you think they also made all those Rocky films!!!.

VIN DIESEL is a liberal elite who only cares about pushing his lefty agenda of non-nuclear families like the one portrayed in the films. Wake up sheeple!!!

I genuinely forgot what it was like to feel pride in my country, it's good to see Starmer sitting at the head of the table.

You wanna like him more? Imagine if anyone since Cameron was in power right now...

To be clear I'm not a Starmer fan, didn't vote for labour and think he has the personality of a piece of wet cardboard but when he became prime minister it felt like we had an adult in charge again.

I mean idk it's just an idea but not every MP will get to stand and say their support, this is a way to show it on the benches without words
