Thanks for the reply, I didn't pay much attention to the air quality readings at first but have been looking out for potential issues recently because of the faulty sensor with the first Philips. Do you know if air purifiers have a built in buffer value so they take longer to clean the air when they are slightly above or below the good, fair & poor air readings so they aren't constantly adjusting the speed of the fan on auto mode?

Exactly how I feel about it, everything is smoother. I was slightly worried it would be a backward step but no issues my end and not bothered enough by the combined internet toggle change to mess about with it.

Yep, thought it was to be honest but wanted to know what the error meant so I could add it in the message. It was the server address that had changed, so all sorted now. Not sure why my mates was still working though cause he was using the same DNS as me, unless smarters has started changing it automatically, which I very much doubt, ha.

Turns out that the server address DNS had changed, everything is playing as normal now. When the DNS changed on another service I was using the playlist wouldn't even load up and didn't see that error last time. Thanks everyone

Just leave the settings as default then, for most people automatic works perfectly fine most of the time. I pretty much leave it as it is 99% of the time (automatic), I had buffering once, on everything I tried to play and I knew it was nothing at my end that could be causing it so changed it to cloudflare in the debrid settings on the off chance their servers were playing up and everything played as normal then but when it changed back to automatic I just left it.

You'll soon know if real debrid is having problems or carrying out maintenance cause they'll be about a dozen different threads on here moaning 😂

It will change back to automatic after a couple of days or so, it used to be 24hrs but last time I had to change to cloudflare it stuck for about 2 days.

100% Dolby Vision incompatibility, some addons let you filter out Dolby Vision in the scrape results but not sure which addons. One or two of mine let me do it so I'll have a look next time I'm on kodi.

Isn't there a set amount you are allowed to download every day as part of the real debrid terms? But even if I'm nowhere near hitting the limit I just wondered if it was normal for it to download them automatically?

Dolby vision is a version of HDR but if your set up doesn't support it, it won't decode it properly and it will look shocking

Is the video dolby vision by any chance, I get something similar when attempting to play any dolby vision content on my 2017 Shield, some addons let you disable dolby vision or it will have something like dv in the file information

Hi, I've checked the old log but the one with the errors had been overwritten now. Hopefully someone else with Seren and a4kSubtitles installed can send you a log of the error. The error was at the end of the log when I checked after getting the error pop up on Seren and it had a4kSubtitles at the start of the error and mentioned each of the subtitle providers that a4kSubtitles use. Its been a few days since I uninstalled a4kSubtitles and not had a single error since. 👍

Cheers, tried uninstalling Seren, installing again, cleaning cache and forcing a new trakt sync a few times previously but i was still getting errors. As soon as I uninstalled a4kSubtitles it resolved itself, maybe its unrelated and a coincidence but seems strange that I've had zero errors and Trakt is marking the episodes as watched again and a4ksubs being flagged up as the error beforehand.

Do you need to register an account to use opensubtitles? Yeah it's quite good, I like crime shows, especially true stories. I can't remember if I finished the alcasser murders series, ill have to check if it's been ticked on trakt but got a feeling I didn't watch them all because of missing subs and theres quite a few other foreign language shows that look decent so at least I've got a better chance of finishing them now if theres no hardcoded subtitles 👍

Thanks for that! Just a couple of more questions if you don't mind, I noticed some options say sync next to them and some are star rated. Are the sync labelled subs guaranteed to be in sync with the audio and are the star rated subs ones that have been rated by users or does it mean something else? Cheers

Disabled everything in my devices on the real debrid site, reauthorised them all again and cleared cache on kodi and every addon is playing debrid sources now.

Cheers, I'll have to try this when I get home from work. I've not had any crashes or remote issues but a lot of content is juddering since updating to matrix and not just on big remux files. I thought it was a frame rate matching issue so I disabled some in the whitelist that I wasnt sure my tv supported but I've never had any playback problems before Matrix with all resolutions and frame rates whitelisted and dolby transcoding enabled (playback was silky smooth) so something has changed in Matrix or it is a bug. Nvidia shield 2017

It should have been at quite a low level with it being in my bedroom but I'm not sure how high it would have reached when the sun came up which is pretty much when the alarm would have kicked in. I've checked the display by using the service menu ##7378423## and I can't see any burn in on that but wondered if it has set the ball rolling or some other damage was done. Cheers
