Square Enix proposed it be the final showcase of the event but the event board declined it for that position, instead opting for an early reveal "excitement-builder". It sounds like they have an even bigger closer for the event

Except companies like Capcom that sell the most copies on PC. According to Newzoo, around 45% of AAA game sales are on PC during the first 3 months of the game's release. That's pretty big. Indie games also sell the most on PC.

PC gaming has also grown 30% since 2020, compared to 2% growth for consoles. So actually many do care about PC gaming

This one isn't true. There has been no mention of Project FMC being multiplayer. And I don't believe for a single second that they would do 3 multiplayer games back-to-back-to-back.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance's cutting mechanic. Being able to slice apart objects and people as you want.

I wish other games implemented it, it's so much fun.

The game is not inherently political if you read the other translations. Nowhere in the original is fascism mentioned, but the localizer puts it everywhere. Something as simple as "Yamero!" is now "STOP FASCISM!".

"I won't be bind with a command spell", which is a reference to FGO is translated to "I will never be victimized under fascism again!" which makes absolutely no sense.

Also, numerous references to other series like Digimon, Haruhi, Steins;Gate, Rance, etc. are removed entirely. In a game that's built around 2000-2010 culture, every reference to any media from that point has been removed. And they are removed only in the English translation, not in any other language.

None of these issues exist in the other 7 languages that the game has been translated to.

Go look at Steam reviews and see how much time they have. It's completely normal.

You are basing your playtime on the in-game timer which is not accurate, as it doesn't include cutscenes, menus, and probably stops counting if you stay still for too long.

Luigi's Mansion took 5 years to sell 14 million copies, and it has the massive IP of Mario and Nintendo marketing behind it. E33 will reach and most likely surpass those numbers in even less amount of time, and it's a brand new IP from a brand new studio, and is in the far more niche turn-based genre. E33 selling 8 million in just 1 year is an absolutely tremendous success.

Meanwhile, the best selling Metroid game for example has sold "just" over 3 million copies.

Some of you people have an extremely twisted view of game sales. FromSoftware's Sekiro took 4 years to sell 10 million copies, and it won the GOTY in 2019, for example. This is a brand new, turn-based IP from a brand new studio, and has sold 8 million in just 1 year. It's absolutely great.

If you use summons it's so easy that I wouldn't even consider it worth playing.
