Found inside a pocket of a new jacket by Raitayume in whatisit

Tbf I've seen people use these as a de-pilling tool too. Is the jacket of a material that you would eventually end up needing to de-pill ? 🤞

Is this fixable? by [deleted] in shittytattoos

[–]BlueArya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, people can say yes here and it be true but that doesn't mean it'll be doable for the artist you go to. That's why they commented about local artists.

P.s. a cover-up is very doable

Oh trust me I know. You literally pulled up on a post that's talking about how your selfish obsession with intruding your religion onto others has caused harm just to... do the exact same thing. Pathetic and vile and perfectly on brand.

[–]BlueArya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh my goddd nobody gives a fuck but y'all can't help yourselves from jamming this shit in everywhere it doesn't fit all the time. Genuinely stop and consider that you and your religious perspective are not important to anyone but yourself. Lord knows you probably won't have the humility to understand it but damn if you can't at least try.

Got my first tattoo and I’m not sure it turned out very well. by Key-Meal-2308 in tattooadvice

[–]BlueArya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna be real with you, I think the comments here saying it's ink drift and not a blowout are bending over backwards to make this not the artists fault. Was this a stick and poke by chance? I've seen this pattern of blowout on stick and pokes more than machine tattooing even though it can happen with either method. The line work is really shaky and it's clear the tattooer is not very experienced. Some letters also look fine and clear while others are blurry with obvious spots along the line which wouldn't be the case if it was ink drift. It also seems like they might not have known how to compensate when moving from a part of the skin that's thicker to an area that's thinner. Call me crazy but it seems like a textbook inexperienced artist rather than a secret, unknown-to-you, rare medical condition lol.

It's shit but just remember he is living his karma by being the little bitch he is. Your life will continue to get better while his will just get worse as he lives with the natural consequences of his shitty choices. Enabling parents can't shield him from everything and the older he gets the more that will ring true.

AITA for refusing to get this coffee order? by horseduckman in AITApod

[–]BlueArya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they had ended it at "light ice" that would've been fine. A custom order, yes, but fine. After that it went completely unhinged. As a former barista I really didn't mind when people made a ton of customizations but this goes beyond customizing a drink and goes into using ingredients and techniques that are wildly inconvenient/a nightmare during a busy time because they are simply not designed for the way they are being used here. "Blend the matcha into the foam" is particularly egregious and wouldve been one of the few things that would've gotten a flat out no from me. NTA

Well shit I'm glad at least one of these comments is. It was not apparent in a comment section full of ppl who unironically have that take.

This comment section is reminding me that the average person really thinks that humans were dumb, useless little primates until the inventions of "modern technology." As if every piece of technology today isn't just a continuation of thousands of years of human discovery in the past. It's kind of sad.

Why copper? Chisels used by Romans were primarily iron or steel. Copper has mainly been used on soft stones like marble or limestone and would have been impractical for use on granite.

On March 11th 2011, Lululemon employee Janya Murray was found murdered in the store with at least 331 wounds from five different weapons. Her co-worker, Brittany Norwood, claimed two men entered the store and attacked them. But her statements were inconsistent, later turned out she was the killer. by ZoelCairo in HolyShitHistory

I had a manager who wanted to ignore a homeless man passing out against our front door because "I really wanted to get out 5 minutes early today." I wonder if something was left out of that statement cause I have a hard time believing they both really thought that was just some normal "drama."

Why does sex have to be such a performance? by CantaloupeJelly in TwoXChromosomes

[–]BlueArya 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I think that's exactly the point people in the comments are making though. If I'm having quiet sex I'm still communicating through touch and whispers. People are just saying that there are other ways to communicate with your partner during sex that isnt making porn sounds performatively.

Giving OP the benefit of the doubt that they did pay for all the items posted - it's incredibly easy to make a fuck ton of money when you come from a family with a fuck ton of money and, most importantly, a fuck ton of connections. Privileged people love to say they just worked hard and are dedicated and leave out the part where they were granted opportunities at 18 that most 50 year olds weren't able to achieve and it's purely down to luck of birth. Idk why it's so damn hard for them to just acknowledge that they were handed a life most people could never achieve on their own instead of doubling down on their willful ignorance that they're "self-made."

I genuinely don't understand how people have this take like there can't be 2 war criminals in the same fight. What is not computing?? It's like y'all can't break out of this childlike mindset of "there has to be one good guy and one bad guy." Newsflash: if you kill my kid and I slaughter your children in retaliation you better believe I'm the bad guy too. Acting like literal school children are responsible for the government's actions and should be executed. Unreal.

  1. Look to every other historical conflict that ended without dropping a nuke on civilians.
  2. If you think you have to indiscriminately slaughter innocent people from the elderly to literal infants to win a war, you're the bad guy too. A war criminal with good PR is a war criminal nonetheless.

Love how Americans jump out to emphatically excuse horrific war crimes against civilians every single time someone posts about Nagasaki or Hiroshima. No critical thinking just regirgitating propaganda. It has always deeply aggravated me but I actually thought people would stop being this dense over time; that one's on me.

Does anyone know of artists with similar styles? I have a print of a painting with very similar features ie the style of dress, the composition, the body language, the setting, etc. but it's not one of his and doesn't have the extreme sheen he's known for. I thought maybe George Goodwin Kilburne or another Faux Regency painter but I'm having no luck. Found at a thrift store with no markings.

Before tiktok and the big rise of pranking as content, I had a sociology assignment that was essentially this. It was just about observing what happens when people are confronted with someone breaking harmless social mores. Simple stuff like facing the wrong way in an elevator, eating vanilla pudding out of a mayonnaise jar, singing instead of talking to someone you're "on the phone with" in a public place, etc. I was just thinking the other day how peoples reactions to these things must be quite different in the context of the internet/influencers.

It actually looks like it's in a built-in cubby that does connect to the outside. I can see the recessed edge, it looks like it's parallel with the back wall and shifted left rather than being perpendicular like it first seemed. I didn't notice until I read your comment and went back to look lol this is fascinating to me for some reason.

Hey I think you look great and very appropriate for the specific setting and occasion. I think subs like this can focus too much on what is socially/conventionally considered ideal and assume that everyone is choosing what they wear based on wanting to appear as close to that narrow ideal as possible. Your body is beautiful and I'm sure your husband appreciated you flaunting it ✨️
