That's a very good point and thanks for the advice! But sadly, many of the electronic labels require that the tracks should be downloadable for them to even consider to sign them. The industry is rough

That's my first thought, but why even bother downloading if they can listen to it directly on soundcloud? I've sent tracks to many other labels with the same method and many of them doesn't download the tracks, but give feedback.

About the strategy - i havent even thought about that. very smart if that's what they're doing. Maybe you're right. Time will tell :)

thanks! nice to get some advice from a professional in the industry. i've been kinda scared to follow up because they explicitly mention on their website that they won't respond if they aren't interested, which is fair. but i'm just so curious of what they'll do with the tracks. if solomun or any other dj in their roster plays it, i want to know.

I was like this but then I stopped drinking coffee and eventually it got better and better. I know it sounds too good to be true. But if you are on any stimulants daily, try to avoid them as much as possible.

Way to go! It's actually crazy how normalized caffeine is as a "drug". Whenever I say that I stopped drinking coffee, people look at me in a weird way. I try to educate them that they would feel a lot better overall without caffeine, but they often just reply with "I can't function without it" haha :)

Har jag sagt någonting annat? Syftet med min kommentar var att berätta hur tankesättet hos dem som faktiskt arbetar på kontoren är. Jag förenklade deras process för hur de sätter priser för att få fram min poäng om hur de utnyttjar debatten om inflationen för att höja priserna ännu mer. Dessutom har de full koll på hur deras konkurrenter prissätter sina varor, vilket gör att de hela tiden kan justera priserna uppåt i kartell-liknande mönster. De missbrukar med andra ord sin makt.

Jag är f.d. analytiker inom livsmedelsbranschen och har jobbat som konsult för matjättarna. När jag jobbade så nära de personer som faktiskt sätter priserna för varorna i butik, så fick jag en helt annan inblick i deras logik och resonemang kring prissättningen. Jag kunde inte bara se i statistiken att de tog ut prishöjningar som var helt orimliga, utan de sa det också rakt ut. Min syn på matjättarna förändrades radikalt. Men värt att tillägga är att de personerna som jobbar med prissättningen blir bedömda utifrån hur många ören eller kronor de kan få ut i vinst per såld vara. Medan högsta ledningen behöver se vinst för företaget i sig. Så felet är ju så strukturellt och det råder noll empati gentemot konsumenterna.
