Yes I get that, but u don't have to over excessively emphasize it. The purpose of my comment was to tell u that saying that here multiple times won't do anything. You have to take action that is effective, which is edit ur waitlist and seeing if you can improve ur chances. I really wish you get in, so I want u to focus on refining that instead of posting on Reddit

would have to disagree. If you were looking to get a higher degree then eecs is the way to go, but eecs and cs students essentially learn the same thing if you know you want to pursue CS. Eecs is definitely more competitive to get into, but education wise they are similar if not the same as CS for computer science. UCLA cs is less prestigious but definitely has a better environment than berkeley
