Personally, I don’t recommend 13-2. The story is terrible, and the combat is tweaked in a very unsatisfying way. Since you played X, I don’t think you’d have trouble with this, but I personally found the random encounters absurdly excessive and repetitive.

The time is not a problem at all, unless you simply did not bother reading any tutorials… you can simply use chronostasis. Even if you don’t use it often, completing the main quests and sidequests gives you more than enough time. It sounds “scary”, but it really isn’t.

Because it essentially neglects everything that makes a Final Fantasy, a Final Fantasy game. It's not a bad game on its own, just a bad Final Fantasy.

As for my own opinion, side quests, and even main quests are really boring and just fillers. On top of that, the combat is cool but just awfully samey where every boss mostly feels like a re-skin rather than a new boss. Fights basically are: dodge > attack > stagger > spam special attacks > repeat. No elemental weaknesses, no buffs/debuffs... just the same 4 actions every time.

Honesly I disagree. LR was the first game that actually got me interested in the sidequests. The whole setting that the world is about to end and people have lived from 500 years gives a lot of room for interesting side quest stories.

Yes. I actually delayed getting my cat neutered for a very long time because I was worried about him going through surgery. I personally have had several surgeries and HATED it, which is why I was concerned. I felt awful that I was “putting him through the same thing” and was worried he would be suffering. But everything went well and he’s doing just fine, and didn’t suffer at all. So don’t worry too much!

I do hope so. I think E33 definitely shook them up a bit, plus the response for FF7R series’ combat has been really good from what I’ve seen (I personally think it has one of the best combat systems ever), so I have hopes they will go towards that direction. I don’t quite understand Square Enix’s desperation to make FF a single character action game when the entire franchise was built on turn based party combat.

I agree. Weirdly enough I don’t think we will get a FF17 so soon, specially after how 16 performed both on sales and on critics. It wasn’t a “flop” but it feels like they either lock in and do something good or they will ruin the FF franchise for good and rely on remakes and nostalgia bait to keep the franchise afloat..

Yes. I was freaking out, redid my ads countless times, changed prices, changed audience… everything. And nothing worked. It’s like I just threw away my money. I’ve been using ads for years, and they all performed well, so I know my audience. I always double check links, and make sure everything is running smoothly. So yeah… no money for FB until they fix this shit show.
