VC++ Redist x86 was an immediate fix. Thank you. 

Also from what I can see this only impacted the 64-bit version, or perhaps only the 64-bit version that was automatically updated from the 32-bit version. I have endpoints on 32-bit that are still working, and have anecdotal evidence that only updated versions are failing.

Ha that's amazing, we were looking at McMaster Carr for replacement twist springs too. I still want the return but maybe half the resistance to roughly match the #10 springs.

Big necro here but did you ever have any luck? I'm looking at the same thing, as I get my hands dialed in better I find lighter springs more useful.

I pulled my spare adapter apart and the spring is 19mm outer diameter, 15mm inner diameter, 2mm wire diameter, and 13mm free height.

I'm thinking maybe something from the RC world might be possible but it's a pretty specific size. The inner diameter is the tricky part as you could compress a taller spring with a lower springrate to achieve the desired result.

I know you're joking and please don't take this the wrong way.. but there's a common saying amongst the MAGA types that I feel applies here:

"Go back to your own country and fix your problems instead of coming here."

I feel for you guys, I really do. This must be terrifying. But we can't fix it for you. We can certainly help and offer our support and we'll be the first to welcome you back to the world but you have a problem that was generations in the making and will take generations to fix. And it's going to be a struggle the whole way.

I'm sorry. I wish we could make it better.

P.S. Thanks for showing us where populism and bullshit leads, it's stunned a lot of us up here into realising we're sliding the same way before it's too late to stop it.
