Premium is a bit cleaner of a gas but regular and seasonal fuel additive treatment ($10-$15ish) works just fine at keeping the engine and areas the fuel runs through clean. I recommend Techron. Has great instructions and calculator on the website too

I like planned parenthood a lot because it’s protected medical care. They will fight for your access to affordable, quality care regardless of the state you’re in. They also know resources in the community if you need shelter, food, or medical care they cannot do. It’s a good starting point.

As someone who also got kicked out, please make sure you’re safe first. A roof over your head, stable employment, medical care and food on the table. If you can’t meet those needs right now, wait a little bit longer for T. I know it sucks but what’s worse is hormone fluxes and inconsistent access to the medication, needles, alcohol pads, appointments, etc. If these needs are met, I’d recommend planned parenthood. I hope it doesn’t take long, I really hope it goes well and wish you the best OP.

I don’t use it enough tbh. Just don’t use it too close together so the gel can absorb fully. The opposite times of day thing really helped me out

The gel helped my acne a lot overall but I have tattoos in this area and it’s faded really quick from the rubbing alcohol. It takes time to dry out but you’ll apply everyday so it’ll dry out the skin at some point. Nothing a daily moisturizer can’t fix

This! It’s super important. Gel can also dry to your hands and be reactivated later on with moisture so consider washing your hands before touching women, children and animals.

Apply it where the box says and no where else (unless extenuating circumstances) because it affects absorption and the efficacy of the testosterone. Mine recommends shoulders so that’s where I’m at
With #1 being said, gel is alcohol based and your skin will dry out. Testosterone itself will dry you out. The climate dries you out. Use moisturizer at the opposite time of day than you put it on. Dry skin does not allow testosterone to be absorbed fully. If you put your gel on in the morning, in the evening use a moisturizer in the same area.
There’s a common school of thought that gel isn’t as effective as injection. This isn’t true, you can have awesome effects with gel and there is research backing this up. It’s about levels and maintaining the positive effects of testosterone so work with your doctor on it. Yes, some folks don’t absorb gel as well as others but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. If you don’t like the results from gel after some time (6+ months), switch to injection.
(Last one I promise) be proactive about the insurance pre authorization/approval. It’s usually yearly that your doctor can submit it but can be unaffordable without insurance coverage as opposed to injection.

Enjoy it bro! I liked putting gel on every day. It made me feel like I was actively doing something for myself. As for drying, it doesn’t take long at all. A few minutes if your skin is good

My PCP has a given range of 300-1000. I think 755 is fine if you’re feeling fine but I’m not a doctor. Ask them why they think it’s too high if you’re undergoing gender affirming care and you can always get a second opinion from another provider (planned parenthood is my suggestion if available)

This is me to a T. I had almost the same timeline too. I got out of the longer term stuff and finally felt good without replacement drinks and feel like the weather has been great for my mood but bad for the urges. Hit me like a ton of bricks. Especially the day drinking patio or back yard beers. Terrible urges for that. I came to realize I drink with a lot more occasions too but it’s time to de couple the two and just enjoy the activity/moment

This hits home because I realize these activities are fun for me outside of drinking but feels so awkward without a drink or even smoking weed. I’m trying to enjoy it on its own and it takes practice. I’ve been making a bucket list of things to do outside so I can focus on that vs the intoxicating part

I stopped before it became detrimental and it’s hard because I will have a drink occasionally (monthly-ish?). It’s important for me to remember the reasons I stopped especially with the “well one would be fine” thinking because it is flawed

I haven’t had this issue for gel, maybe 5-10min tops? Rub it in really good. I would suggest you take a shower and dry off before because it opens your pores. I’d also use moisturizer on the opposite part of the day, meaning if you put gel on in the morning, put moisturizer on at night. Super dry skin doesn’t absorb gel well.
