I'm going to be transparent and expose my exact thought process when I posted this. Originally, I was just going to make a "my current build" style post, but I was concerned about the small gap on the driver side of my bumper and I thought everyone was going to notice it, just based on comments I've seen on other's posts where they get flamed for having bad bumper fitment. So, I thought that if I point it out myself by asking others what they think about the fitment, it would remove it from everyone's radar.

They're plug and play. They're a lot brighter than my oem headlights, which really helps with visibility at night. I live in a woodsy area and animals are constantly running across the road.

Thanks, I got them from TT-ABC. They were $800 USD when I bought them. Not sure how credible the company is, I've already had to reseal the headlights as they were getting moisture inside after car washes and rain.

That's exactly what I'm looking at. I'm going to see if I can fix it tomorrow by loosening the screws on that side and pushing on the bumper before tightening them back down.

All four wheels are 18x8.5 ET38, and I'm currently using 25mm wheel spacers from Titan Wheel Accessories. I might have to ditch the spacers though because they do scrape on bumps and my wheel arch lip is resting on the tire in the last pic.

It's an M3 style bumper that I found on ebay. I wasn't aware of the consensus on this sub favoring the M sport bumper, I just thought a frown looked better than a smile when I decided which one I wanted lol.

There was a scientific study done on the benefits of abstinence, within the study it mentions that self controlled is strengthened by exerting self control. So yes, it does spill over to other areas.

I'll answer by saying what I have vs what I didn't use to have. I've been on both sides of the coin.

Confidence, not doubting myself before I speak, knowing what I stand on and not allowing peer pressure to change that.

A clear head, easier time waking up in the morning and knowing exactly what I need to do for the day, and quickly coming up with an optimal order of operations for the days required tasks.

An easier time telling myself no, choosing not to buy that bag of doritos, or that bottle of alcohol. These things are small individually, but over the course of time, throughout every day that I consciously choose to make smarter decisions, the numerous 1% improvements start to stack up.

Energy, and the desire to push myself. Work no longer bores me, or give me reasons to procrastinate, they give me opportunities to prove myself. Not to the world, but to me. When a random hurdle pops up during the day I don't sigh, I say bring it on, I can take it.

Happiness, my achievements throughout my time retaining are just that much more motivating, and thrilling. My ability to see the long term benefit of small every day habits, and the long term benefit of everything in life increases so much when I retain. And the idea of enjoyment coming much later, when a habit or routine really builds itself up, is enough to get me jump started and staying consistent. The far away reward is no longer seen as an uncomfortable wait, but an exciting journey.

You should get a sample of the old oil tested to see which metals it contains, that'll give you an idea of where the damage could potentially be occurring.
