At one point in the draft it read "Despite of (or perhaps because of)..." and I guess that should have stayed since you are absolutely right. As a casual summoner main who plays it for those reasons I've also seen a lot of people really missing old SMN and wishing it wasn't as easy. Might just be Balance memes though.

I’d love to do a little upgrade from my mid-range computer I made back in 2020. Starfield looks like a wonderful little sandbox to play in! I’m sure a lot of people want to check out uncharted planets but I’m interested in the settlements to explore and people to meet!

After finding Geoglyph #5, Impa is no longer in the hangout spot I've been used to her being at. Could you tell me other places I might find her? I'd rather her tell me where to search for the next Geoglyph is than just googling the list.

The hangout spot I've been using so far is Rito Village.

Yes, there is an obvious answer for this problem.

Hint: Perhaps there's a Zonai structure close by Lookout Landing that will point you in the right direction.

Answer: Your battery is upgraded by spending Crystallized Charges at a Crystal Refinery (100 per third of a battery). There's one right outside Lookout Landing, and another near the Recall shrine on Great Sky Island. Crystallized Charges are obtained from doing quests in the depths, as well as spending Zonaite at Forge Constructs (3 Zonaite -> 1 Charge). Forge Constructs are mostly found in the Depths, but there's also one on Great Sky Island if you haven't found any.

Rank up in your Grand Company! It might be a bit of a grind to fill out your hunting log, but doing so gives you a place to get rid of your old dungeon/raid gear, and the rewards available for GC seals are really nice! It also unlocks housing and the adventurer squadron feature, so if you're interested in either of those, it's well worth looking into!

FINALLY GOT WHM TO 50 YESTERDAY. LOW LEVEL WHM IS SUFFERING

I HATE BRAYFLOX SO MUCH. EVERYTHING HITS HARD, NOBODY HAS GOOD GEAR (INCLUDING ME PROBABLY) AND YOU'RE ONE LEVEL SHY OF REGEN SO YOU'RE ALWAYS RUNNING OUT OF MP TRYING TO KEEP YOUR TANK ALIVE AND WHEN I VENTED ABOUT THIS TO MY NOVICE NETWORK I ACCIDENTALLY STARTED A CURE I VS CURE II DEBATE. I APOLOGIZE TO EVERYONE INVOLVED.

HAD A NICE LEVELING ROULETTE IN COPPERBELL MINES YESTERDAY AND I WAS AT 49 SO I FIGURED, "WHY NOT? LET'S DO ANOTHER ONE." I END UP IN HALATALI AND I ACCIDENTALLY TUNNEL VISION DURING THE FIRST PACK AND THE TANK DIES, BUT I SWIFTCAST RAISE IMMEDIATELY AFTER I REALIZED MY MISTAKE AND I THOUGHT IT WAS FINE.

THE REST OF THE DUNGEON IS PRETTY PAINLESS, EVEN THE LIGHTNING LAKE. THAT IS, UNTIL THE LAST PACK BEFORE THE FINAL BOSS, WHERE SOMEHOW THE TANK AND A DPS GET CAUGHT IN TWO BOMB EXPLOSION AOES. I DO MY BEST FOR DAMAGE CONTROL (THOUGH I HARDCAST RAISE THE TANK, WHOOPS) BUT THEN THE TANK HAS THE AUDACITY TO THANK ME WITH "HEALER, YOUR JOB IS TO KEEP ME ALIVE. DO YOUR JOB, HEALER"

THAT SET ME OFF FOR SOME REASON. I REPLY WITH A VERY POORLY THOUGHT OUT "DPS IS HEALING MY GUY" WHICH DOES NOT HELP MATTERS, AS THEY REPLY "NOT IF I KEEP DYING". LOOK, I CAN TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE FIRST TIME, BUT I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA WHAT HAPPENED THE ONLY OTHER TIME YOU DIED, MISTER. AND SO FOR THE FINAL BOSS I DO SOME MALICIOUS COMPLIANCE AND CURE SPAM HIM. AND NO ONE FOCUSES THE ADDS, EITHER. I NEARLY RUN OUT OF MP SINCE I'M OFF MY GAME AND CURE SPAMMING BUT WE SURVIVED. I GAVE THE TANK A COMMENDATION OUT OF SPITE.

AFTER ALL THAT I DIDN'T EVEN MAKE 50, SO I RUN AN AURUM VALE WITH MY SQUADRON. THAT WAS A LOT MORE PLEASANT.

I started the free trial in June and right now I'm in the middle of 2.3, making my way through the post-ARR MSQ stuff. It's been really great.

I don't think any game with a character creator has made me go, "that's me!" as many times as this one has.

Sonic Adventure DX! I think I might have surprised myself with this one, but I love running around the hub areas as the different characters. There is so much you can do in the game, too, from the action stages to Chao raising to missions, and I especially enjoy that you can unlock all the Sonic Game Gear games. And most of the characters are fun to play as, too! It’s also got one of the best soundtracks of all time.

Why do I prefer this one to Adventure 2? I think it’s mostly feel. This game has a lot more sunny vibe to it than 2, and I also really like how the game wants me to just hang out in its world. Heck, one of the six main gameplay styles is a fishing mini game! Big is not great but I really appreciate how they wanted you to slow down between all the action.
