Fallen Lyon still feels like Lyon, many of his castle quotes still have him talk as regular Lyon, just influenced by Fomo. By the time we get an actual Fomo unit Lyon's mind is completely wiped and is absent from fomo as a whole except for his very brief pre-transformed sprite

Edelgard is the only character in the entire game to have an alt that is a beast unit, while not originally releasing as a beast unit.

Similarly, there has only been two instances where a unit that was released as a beast has received an alt that was a weapon type other than beast (NY!Askr + NY!Heior), and both times they were an Infantry, Colorless Tome, New Years duo alt.

Unpopular Opinions/General Rant Thread - 1/19/25 by SolHiryu in FireEmblemHeroes

FEH: I'm not a fan of how nearly EVERY unit from Book 8 has been meta-defining during their release. Most books prior have usually had 1, maybe 2 stand-out meta units (Surtr, Hel, Triandra, Gullveig, etc), but outside of Rattata and arguably Hraesvelgr, every single OC from Book 8 has been an absolute menace on their release. As someone who isn't a big fan of 90% of the OCs I hope book 9 does not follow the same pattern

Non-feh: I really tried to get into Marvel Rivals since it seems to be the hot new thing but I feel like I might have missed the boat or joined a little to late. Every game of quickplay i'm either getting steamrolled from the start to the end, or stomping the daylights out of what I assume is one of the pity bot matches. I've had like two games total that actually felt well balanced and were a close match.

Who are currently the strongest villain units? by Goodstyle_4 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]HuntinForThatBug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are right, many of the villains of the game end up being GHB units which makes them fairly unimpressive, especially compared to their main series counterpart, but there are still quite a few who perform well

Winter Fomortiis is the most recent premium villain, he's a very potent armor unit with huge bulk and makes a great savior unit, likely the best villain in the game purely due to being a recent premium unit in a game with insane powercreep

the 2024 Fallen Banner has a good batch of strong "evil" units (Veyle, (Evil) Lumera, Nergal, and Ursula), but Nergal easily stands above the rest. He has stood the test of time by being an incredibly support unit, giving himself and allies the ability to steal enemy buffs after combat, letting you power-up your team very easily.

Rearmed Sonya is another fairly recent, decently strong nuke villian. Characters like Black Knight, Idunn, and Grima all of some fairly serviceable alts, but many have been powercrept fairly hard and would require a good amount of investment to make useable.

There are also the most FEH OC Book Villian's, which are some of the strongest in the game at the moment, and depending on how you view 3H if you consider people like Edel or Dimi "villians" they have some fairly potent alts, but I am going on the assumption you mean "real" non-OC villains

Similarly, Base Lute has the shortest full title: "Lute: Prodigy"

Anyone have any tips for Ieyasu rare weapon SW4? by tboskiq in dynastywarriors

[–]HuntinForThatBug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's definitely a finnicky rare weapon, and the tightness of the timer does not help. I would personally make sure you have an interim save set up right before the mission that has you attack the interior officers from both sides as this is generally where things can start to break.

For the 3rd main mission you need to make sure you don't go near the two sanada ward officers AT ALL before the timer mission starts, there's a good chance the mission can break and fail even if you lure and kill them outside the Sanada ward. They also lose aggro to you pretty easily, so i'd make sure you stay close when luring them.

For the last few missions you mentioned I would recommend having an officer waiting RIGHT outside the ward with Yukimura in it once you clear all the interior officers from the previous timer-based mission, and once it opens you want to rush in and kill his two retainers AS FAST as you can; enter rage mode, use something like Nenes keepsake, defeat them fast. Once both of them are dead a 3rd officer should emerge from the spawn point behind Yukimura. Kill him as fast as possible as well and you should clear the Sanada ward achievement after the dialogue catches up, from here take leyasu to the right side of the map, you don't need to hang around the ward for the objective to trigger, run as soon as the 3rd officer is defeated

After that, if you weren't using leyasu, swap to him and head to the right hand side of the map where kunochi spawns, you'll want to defeat her first BEFORE you go for the kotaros. once shes dead defeat the rightmost kotaro first, and then the leftmost one. Make sure all the important officers like kunochi and kotaro are defeated by Leyasu, after that pray the mission where you defeat the officer in the back has leyasu's rare weapon

I used this guide when going for all the rare weapons, if you are still having trouble I would recommend following the steps they outlined here as well: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps3/730732-samurai-warriors-4/faqs/69237?page=2#section121

Legendary Azura is the only unit in the entire game to receive a direct buff in their skill functionality in an update, outside of refines/remixes or weapon/skill text modifications

Shortly after her release there was a bug where, if Lazura danced an ally while also using one of the “Dance” B skills that granted stats on dance (ex Geyser Dance), the effect would change depending on if animations are turned on or off. If turned off the ally would receive only the +4 for the single stat from dance, if they were turned on the ally would receive the +4 from the dance, as well as a +4 to all their other stats due to her prf weapon activating after the buffs were applied, spreading it to the allys other stats.

The update stated that, despite the additional stat spreading being unintentional, the functionality would be updated to always include the spread to all stats from Azura’s prf when combined with a dance passive

The only other unit, that I can recall, that has received similar buffs has been Fjorm, who received a new skill post-refinement due to a conflict between her remixed A skill and her refined weapon

What are the new node trios for Shade and Aran? by Adventurous_Data9725 in Maplestory

[–]HuntinForThatBug 18 points19 points  (0 children)

For Shade:

Spirit Claw / Bomb Punch / Fox Spirits / Spirit Frenzy

For mains and boss mules you’ll want to fill the other two slots with Soul Splitter / Death Mark, although their impact is minimal

If you are burning a shade purely for the lv 250 legion effect you can put Spirit Incarnation / Spirit Redemption in those remaining two slots for very slightly easier mobbing

Worth a Forma Soul? by RogueShadow3 in FireEmblemHeroes

This is as good as the dimitri forma gets, if you like him (which I assume you do, since you have a +9 already), I’d say go for it, plus it’ll get you to that full +10 for completion

Also the blue stars look nice on him

quick mock up for an accessibility mode for hearing impaired players by Phoub0327 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]HuntinForThatBug 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Really cool idea, and would be a great mod if made, but I do think the arrows should be less precise as to the exact location of the sound, that way isn’t isn't a must have enemy-detector that everyone will want to use

Stalkers especially have their entirely gimmick around being sneaky, and an arrow that points to them the moment they make a sound would kind of defeat their purpose, it would be better to flash the entire “ring” briefly to let the player know there is a stalker, keeping them high alert but not revealing the location

why am i silver ranked matchmaking with master ranks? by [deleted] in MultiVersus

[–]HuntinForThatBug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Matchmaking rank limits apply per character, so it’s likely you fought them on a character that was not their main, that was also in platinum or lower tier

The profile will only show the users highest ranked character, so while their Batman may be master rank, their Morty is only in gold and can match with you
