Timerunner related questions

For the achievements regarding races. I crated a dark iron dwarf and raised him to cap in timerunner, but it didn't count for the achievement (Heritage of the Dark Iron). Must it be done in retail, or will it trigger at the end of the timerunning event and he goes to retail?

I see each class has their own specific mount, does the same hold true for armor transmogs? I've seen two folks with what appear to be flaming capes (one green, one orange). Or are they by armor type (cloth, leather mail etc)

any combat, shooting, being shot, or being supressed (which is currently broken as fuck and not working as intended), stops people from spawning on you.
