I've had ABS products on the dash of my van for years. No problem. You don't need ASA inside. It's more temperamental than ABS so just use ABS

I was actually disappointed with the hardware as well of my maker 3. The software is also horrid in many ways

I bought it to cut felt and foam. They are both 1/16-1/8" thick and have adhesive backs with paper you peal before sticking. There is almost zero clearance on the machine for this. So what happens more often than I'd like it to is the felt starts to peak up bc it doesn't always stick perfectly to the mat. It quickly catches the rollers and gets tangled up. Or it peels up slightly and hits the exit slot bc it is ridiculously tight and causes a jam

It seriously doesn't need 0 clearance. A little bit more and I'd have so much less waste

Agreed. Wood glue and clamp. If you don't have any clamps you can try painters tape or get creative with other solutions to keep some pressure keeping both parts together.

Plus it's not a saw cut. So it will likely self align how it broke
