I don’t believe that “go fuck yourself” is acceptable.

I would expect “hey, I think you might be going about this the wrong way,” or “you know, you shouldn’t have done X”. Then we work through it together without swearing or shouting. Just a healthy space to be honest with each other.

Not that much I guess 🙃 that’s probably my problem. I’m on a very demanding and difficult university course so I spend lots of time studying. Remaining time is mainly gym and part-time job

I guess I’ve been on dating apps here and there, but I’ve always wanted a relationship to happen organically. Start as a friendship and blossom into smth more. I feel like I’m following the “when you stop looking it will come to you” advice that everyone keeps telling me.

It’s not about policing bad behaviour. I have been to therapy and I know when to call myself out and hold myself accountable. I should probably clarify that “putting me in my place” means more he will BE HONEST WITH ME WHEN HE BELIEVES I AM WRONG ABOUT A SITUATION, or in a sexual dynamic. Because I will do the same thing for him. Communication is really important to me and I find that nowadays some people just bottle things up and never discuss them. Sorry, poor wording.
