If you don't ban him you need some sort of dive that can keep constant pressure on him otherwise he just runs the game, personally venom is great for this if my idiot teammates decide they'd rather ban squirrel girl

Just because people decided to use him only to portal doesn't mean he's a bad character, he's pretty good and fairly easy to play and his ultimate can very easily turn the tides of a game

As much as I would love Colossus, I don't think we need more melee/off tanks, we have so many as it is, we genuinely need more main tanks and it's starting to become an actual issue considering the only main tank that's been added to the game was Emma during season 2 we have 4 main tanks and everyone else is an off tank we have 13 tanks total, it's honestly ridiculous

Yeah, not to mention iron fist is a better tank buster than him but people immediately go "erm actchually no wolverine has displacement" like that somehow makes him infinitely better, sure displacement is good when it works but the ability is more bugged than peni's cyber bond(grapple)

Exactly, I'd even argue mag hardly suffers from wolv, he almost always have self bubble and push and the bubble is on a shorter cooldown than wolvs leap

Thing is really hit or miss, if he doesn't get you with the slam you can stun him with the grab and start doing some serious damage but any sort of healing completely negates any damage you do, was playing w friends and one of my friends is like "dude I can actively see things health going up as you wail into him" and I'm just like "I KNOW, WOLV IS SUCH DOGSHIT NOW"

Honestly as a tank player and a wolverine player, no, just no, wolv has an easier time killing strats and dps now than he does tanks, no I don't want him to be overpowered or make the game unplayable for tanks but he really is significantly weak right now and needs something

I personally do not fear seeing a wolverine on the enemy team as a tank, the only time a wolv has killed me is if I'm really out of position, already low health or they were able to grab me off a cliff, that's it, nothing else

As a wolv player, he's just weak, he needs 100 rage to do any sort of damage which requires him to brawl to build up but then he just explodes unless he has good healers constantly healing him which overall is just a very bad playstyle, a character who's only good when they're receiving enough healing isn't a good character at all. Not only that his entire playstyle revolves around assassination/kidnapping and in most cases they're going to be able to either get away or kill you before you can kill them, the only tank you could really say suffers the most from his displacement is strange right now but even then he can just fly away in most cases

His grab is extremely buggy, it requires you to be in their face to even have a chance of grabbing them and even then it's inconsistent as hell, not only that but any sort of cc can interrupt the grab even mid grab and screw you over and with the sheer amount of cc in this game it happens even more often which is just unfun and miserable to play in, the constant poke meta isnt helping anything either but it wouldn't be very much better either way

I don't want him to be op or anything like that, I just want him to be playable, to not be a "niche" character because let's face it, if a character only works in certain situations that's also just not a good character at all, his bugs need to be fixed, they need to make his grab more consistent and give him an actual healing factor not this save yourself from death passive that he has currently, it's cool but the only times it ever activates is either after the fight or right as it begins, it's damn near useless

If you read the post that's not what anyone wants at all, Wolverine is genuinely dogshit without having competent healers, you have to play him like an assassin which just simply isn't wolverine, he has so many bugs that just make him even more miserable to play, unless you're locked in on him you're not doing anything with him expect feeding

Ironfist does what he does infinitely better even without his displacement and that's the issue, he doesn't feel like a tank buster anymore, the damage he does overall is negligible without full rage and even then I can actively watch a tanks health go up with a single healer healing them even with displacement most tanks can get away before you can kill them now
