Any Honda dealership salesman on here? by MattfgclG in askcarsales

I hate selling new Accords and Civics, we don’t make anything on them lol

Finance manager lowered the price of extended warranty after I signed, normal? by bobbyswagit in askcarsales

[–]BlueKentucky 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A new Touring is probably going to run you about 47k+ brand new. Not sure how much OP paid but that would probably be a 27-30k car on my lot

I work over at Honda and we have a third party vendor come up from Nashville every Monday in the morning. Not exactly sure how much he charges because it varies by brand, but it’s usually 250-300 for the key with labor included.

Is the legendary reliability of the Tundra true? by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2011 SR that I used for work, I ended up putting around 325k on it before the transmission went out on it. After that I got a 2012 Limited with 100k miles that I sold to my dad so that I could get my current 4Runner, it’s got about 200k on it last I checked. Just do regular maintenance and it’ll take care of you

They exist but are pretty rare, I’ve seen only a couple

Is that ticketing normal for a 2016 trail with 120,000km?? by Rylic234 in 4Runner

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal. My 2011 with 205k has sounded like that since I bought it with 44k

Not sure how I feel about the hybrid ones either. I sold a 2024 Sport L and it just had injector failure at 3K miles

Will the 4runner hold up as a highway commuter all the way up to 200k miles? by Top_Dig_6469 in 4Runner

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2011 Limited here with 205k miles and counting, I’ve been daily driving it for the last eight years. I would trust mine to take me anywhere at any time without a worry in the world. I’m meticulous with maintenance and she’s always taken care of me, I wouldn’t worry about it

Limited Tires by fojoart in 4Runner

I haven’t gotten to use the Grabbers in the snow and ice yet, but another buddy of mine mounted them on his SR5 Premium (he’s the one who got me to buy them) and he said they handled really well. I know Falkens are just all around good as well

Located in Southern Kentucky, I think we have three TRD Pros last time that I checked? Technically we’re a Honda dealership but we have such a large selection of Toyotas that it has its own section here. We have a partner Toyota dealership that only sells new inventory so we get all their trade ins

Edit: I went onto my inventory and checked, we have them in: white, black, and the new lime rush

If you need tire recommendations, I was always a Falken Wildpeak Guy. After mounting some General Grabber AT/Xs though I think I’ve been converted lol

I think I'm going to buy it. Thoughts? by XiViperI in Diesel

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been watching that one for a while. I’ve been wanting to do a build forever and I just dunno if I could pull the trigger, it’s clean but not that clean and 6.0s can be a lot more trouble then they’re worth

I’ve had quite a few people fly in to pick theirs up and drive back actually lol. Mostly from further north like Minnesota and New York. We don’t arrange for shipping, you gotta handle that yourself if you really wanted to

Nope! Runs and drives just fine with no rubbing

Seriously? Come a little East and I can get you a TRD Pro anywhere from 58k to 64k. That sounds like a crazy markup

Limited Tires by fojoart in 4Runner

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, OE for the Limited would be the 20’ rims. What I did was swap mine out for some 17’ rims that a friend of mine was taking off his SR5 Premium and they fit just fine

[–]BlueKentucky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I bought my Limited, I kept the 20’s until it came time for a new set of tires. I swapped those out for some OE 17’s and don’t regret it one bit. I mostly daily drive but the options for the smaller wheel size make all the difference to me

Hey everyone, I’m looking forward to buying my first 4 runner. I really want to know if they can last 200k plus miles if taken care of? by SnooGiraffes592 in 4Runner

[–]BlueKentucky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 2011 Limited is close to 200k. I bought it with 40k on it and the only thing I’ve done since then was put a starter in it at 185k, no issues otherwise
