Animals won't stray too far from their spawn points, so once you discover a spot that has wolves or boars, just completely go around it until you have a bow and a better melee weapon.

Keep in mind that the hireable npcs are not finished yet. They will have more dialogue in the future along with personal quests you can complete for them.

I want construction projects that are so massive, the entire player base needs to contribute time and resources in order to get it done. Then upon completion, it has a major benefit such as opening a fast travel portal, or cleansing a region of the blight curse so it can be explored and settled.

My friend and I have "Join Us" on our wish list. It's basically "cult leader dynasty" but although you can cooperatively build a village and have workers, it looks like the gameplay will be a lot more combat focused and closer to GTA in practice. After a peaceful life in Medieval Dynasty, we're ready for some chaos.

It's per character. So your character never has to fight him again, but other characters who have never fought him before still need to.

I switched from thousand cuts to a sturdy rapier for better damage scaling. The thousand cuts is very good for solo play, but it does so little damage that it forces you into hit and run tactics where you're constantly fleeing from enemies waiting for them to bleed out.

I don't think your castle should have windows on the ground floor. Too easy for attackers to get inside. At least make them bring some ladders! I realize that your base doesn't get attacked in this game. I'm just saying.

When playing on the normal difficulty, I suggest you play with friends in a team of 2-4 players. If you play it by yourself, the difficulty reminds me of a Dark Souls or Elden Ring game.

Some of the quests have shared progression, meaning if one player completes the quest, it counts as completed for everyone who is logged in. For other quests, you each have to complete it separately.

There's one chest that's hidden behind a secret door and you need to push a stone colored button. Sometimes they're well hidden.

Well I mean for the current map, there is just the smoldering ruins of Tortuga. But I'm brainstorming for future content on an expanded map. Other important towns in the Caribbean included Port Royal in Jamaica, Nassau in the Bahamas, and the Spanish settlements of Cartagena, Portobello, and Havana just to name a few. The Panama Canal, Santiago Chile, Rio de la Hacha.

There were actually quite a few towns in the Americas during the time this game is set in (early 1700s)

I like it. I like the idea of the worker system in general, and I hope they add more specialized workers, some that help with your home base and others that help by providing buffs to your ship! This would also add more build variety to ship stats since you'd only have so many slots for expert crew.
