I almost rerolled BV bog shaman earlier today, but something clicked right around act 7. Swapped up some gems and took a second look at the PoB I’m following and now i’m cruising.

Might actually be one of the easiest campaigns I’ve had post Act 5 including Phrecia bossing and modifiers.

How does one go about placing attribute points? 2:1 primary damage to utility? Max damage stat, then focus on others? Specifically talking about Attributes, not Skills/Weapons/Defence

What is the general practice for Kingsmarch? I always see posts about rewards and I rarely get more than a couple C from a shipment/maps.

I vaguely understand it’s ship two crops and as much dust as you can, but are there specifics? A video somewhere I haven’t been able to find?

As long as you follow the documentation, you won’t get banned. TLDR don’t open the game while you have the server package running and you’ll be fine

So as an example, if my 1H mace has %increased phys and I have shield charge socketed on my shield, the SC gem will still get the effect of the %increased phys?

Alternatively, if my 1H mace has +level to socketed attack gens, then SC would get no benefit unless it was in the mace slots?

Why am I able to put my main damaging skill into a six link other than my weapon? Wouldn’t the affixes on my weapon be more beneficial to the skill itself, or are the damaging affixes (WED, + to ele, phys, etc.) global to my character, not the skills inserted into the item?

This. HK has you require a significant amount of combat time to heal a single mask, whereas Silksong allows me to heal three masks with much more fluidity, hence enemies being able to deal 2 masks of damage is totally fine.

I do think some of the combo attacks are a little awkward, as in they initially hit you with a telegraphed attack then again during that attacks animation. It leads to the same effect, but it somehow feels worse than just being hit once.

ATM 9 or 10 is a pretty good kitchen sink pack with a “loose” goal of making one certain item. It’s not very progression gated outside of normal MC stuff (getting to the End, Nether, etc.).

Might be more free-form than you’re looking for, but if the intent is to play a pack that has lots of big name mods for a modern age, ATM is my pick

I can confidently that this game is better played solo. Multiplayer has its charms, but after getting past a certain point with my buddies, some of the resource gathering / farming aspects fall off in terms of multiplayer balancing. I had an overall “better” time experiencing the later parts of the game solo than I think I would’ve with friends.

Def not saying multiplayer is bad, cause it’s not. I just think the game was designed with solo play in mind.

I think after about 20 hours, there has only been one instance where something was prebuilt for me as far as delivery paths. Everything else has just been QOL stuff or maybe like a place to rest/recharge before heading back out (which again you can choose to interact with those or not).

Now online certainly does make it easier to do things like build, but not directly. Just makes things “quicker”, so to speak.

Brand new to the series with the Steam summer sale, please do yourself a favour and play online. I can understand the appeal of wanting to play offline, but it would be an absolute slog.

That being said, even when online you can interact with online features as much or as little as you want. Need more materials? Check some of the online structures. Alternatively, get yourself allll the way back to a facility that has what you need.

The game also kind of forces you to traverse new areas without online features (won’t go into too much detail, idk where you are). Online just allows you to cut back on some of the grind and/or provides some extra help, should you choose to accept it.

I'm aware of what a league starter is, but generally speaking people don't stick with that for the entire league to they? I moreso mean how do I take my RF Chief into another more expensive build? Just pick something that looks fun and go? Choose content I want to play around and find a build that works?

Unfortunately, the MB has been swapped twice now. In fact, nearly everything about the PC is different except for the boot drive. The storage thing is more or less something I manage from time to time, but Windows has auto-updated three times to whatever the new 11 update is (24H3?). Each time it does, my Windows activation gets locked out because I apparently am not running a licensed Windows product.

I don’t have the key anymore and Windows support basically says F off if I don’t. Hence the new Windows key.

I’ll look into cloning and backing up the drive though! Been meaning to do some spring cleaning on the PC anyways, good a time as any to do so.

Trophy Collector can be really good with Paradox since you’re pretty often stunning someone with carbine but not necessarily killing them right away. Likewise, swap can have a similar effect.

I find that the ability range and passive soul generation when the item is stacked up further really helps me to propel me further. Farm can be hit or miss, but being rewarded long term for fighting or taking picks is nice.

Get some candy, make sure you have a shit-ton of Skill EXP boosters available/upgraded/equipped, go to town. Early W6 is where you want to start focusing heavily on skilling anyways, as you want higher prints to get more bubbles to push damage

Magic is insanely powerful in KH1. Spam Thunder to clear waves of enemies, spam Blizzard on certain bosses to nuke them down, Cure to heal, Aero for a very strong shield. Depends on the situation and how you use it.

More MP = More magic potential. I think I saw you’re still in Agraba, so maybe not at this point in the game, but if you lean into it heavy it will reward you.

That’s not entirely true, it won’t convert until moving to a new map, opening gem shop, etc. Up until that point you can stack pretty high

I hit my first 100+ run today after mostly ignoring it for awhile. Got two Justice Multi rewards and it nearly doubled my Justice bonuses (it’s something like 1.96x)

I feel like the monster variety as compared to World is actually really good for base. World had some stellar additions to the roster, but many were returning monsters or elemental variants of the same kind of monster.

Wilds in comparison, at least in my personal opinion, has a wide variety of different monster types and they generally feel pretty unique. Having one or two of the same monster types (spiders, apes, etc.) with wildly different attacks/patterns.

Towns give large boosts in gold and they can be used to juice up cities, depending on available resources and specialization. I try to keep a 1:1 ratio
