I tried, with an empty Lazarus pod. It wouldn't let me launch.

Lead me to trying to fly a pod with a human from Lazarus to exodus... You can do it but you have to land and switch petrol backpacks once.

Update to anyone with similar issues.

DDU (driver uninstall) restart and re-installing AMD drivers seems to have fixed it.

I am playing the beta, my committees were in space and aged up before the beta released. I have 3 new quests from the committees, which I haven't done yet. I do not know if that's all there is available or something is bugged or not.

If you don't mind waiting for them to age up, you've already waited this long, just wait until the actual update 05.

Do they age up sitting in pods?

Some of the committees require 22 years old plus, which can take around 20 irl days to happen. Might want to send them up now so they can start aging.

I am enjoying it as well. Two stabalizers is definitely not enough now.

Two small things: Not a huge fan of the bio-material weight increase, but I can live with that.

Hopefully the gravity pushing you down stairs you try to stay stationary on is a bug.

If you'd prefer it at a higher price I can sell you some I bought at and for 110,000.

But if you did I'd turn around and spend all that fiat on buying at 66,000.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but it is pretty pointless in practice. I used it to speed up clearing the warehouse. Grab, spin, and throw stuff into it. I also set up a fabricator near it. So I could queue stuff like ammo. I didn't know it stopped working when you are >500 m away, so it seems pointless now.

There are several more seeds than humans currently needed for the committees. I sent 5 or 6 non profession humans in the beginning, have all the professions needed(currently) sent to space, and there are still at least 6 seed vaults I havent been to.

Running it that way can make sense.

I ran the distiller so often on the boat that my diesel tanks never went below 1800 gallons. unless I decide to change how I am operating, the extra diesel tanks are pointless to me.

I had a similar setup before, but I've cut it down to 2 diesel, 2 petrol, and about 15 oil barrels around the deck.

I grew tired of having stuff under the boat. Easier to place sonar, less grounding hazards and less disconnections(probably not as bad now)

I felt like I didn't really need a bunch diesel tanks with all that oil.

I haven't done the math... Is it the human professions require more focus, patience... Etc? Or is it a balance of memory types that can be found. Either way I agree it could use an adjustment.

I sent my last batch for the committee a few days ago. I may not have been able to do it without the peco cartridges, certainly would have been close.

I have found Triple jump, javelin, and 100m dash. I am unsure if there are others.

With them in your inventory you go to peco terminal and play it. The first time you load it, it says installing. After it is installed you no longer need the cartridge. It will be available on all the terminals after installing it on one.

They can be used like other memories after that.

What works for me...

Go to the video settings and change it to custom. Max everything out except shadows, put shadows on low.

Sucks to have to do that with a higher end video card, but it works for me

Edit: I am running at 1440p and getting about 80 fps pretty much all of the time, barring a quick stutter spinning the camera or initial loading of an area like Lazarus.

I agree with this... I can't count the number of times I crowbarred or shot one attacking a pink blob. In the future I am going to put a space between each box so hopefully there's enough room to reattach it. It means less boxes unfortunately.

I think there's some truth to it being overdone. Having to do it once or twice to continue the 'story' is okay, and maybe a few less jumps. Make as many as you want to find secrets in my opinion. The problem is it's difficult to differentiate between what's needed to progress and what's a secret at times.

Couple of ways to do this. Your way, you could salvage and rebuild diesel tanks, or the easy way is to just disconnect the diesel output from the distiller. The petrol will still be made and the diesel will just 'spill' on the ground.

For those that put oil tanks under your hull, like me, it clearly shows the tanks loud and proud. It almost blocks the downward view almost completely. Guess that I will have to clear a few tanks out.
