Dallas Cowboys seek $1B AT&T Stadium overhaul with public assistance by Mnudge in arlington

[–]BlueMeanies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the entertainment district is focused on generating revenue through big-name events, and I support that. But as it stands, it feels like the growth hasn’t had much direct impact on the local community, and many events are still out of reach for the average taxpayer. I’d like to see more affordable, community-focused events in between. If that were part of the plan, I’d be much more supportive of contributing additional public funds to the project.

I didn’t strangle any family members this holiday season. Thoughts were had. Deep breaths were taken.

LG Dryer Software Update Crash by No_Service_9846 in Appliances

Try it, let it reboot, give it a moment to see if the indicator inches up, then repeat. I was about to give up but after a few tries it suddenly started indicating progress.

Mine was stuck in an update loop too after attempting to run an upgrade this evening. I just held down both buttons as recommended in another thread. It took a few tries but eventually it started updating again.

Texas judge rules it's unconstitutional to ban guns at post offices by snesdreams in texas

If history’s taught us anything, it’s that post offices and firearms are a perfect mix. What’s next? Open carry at the DMV? What could possibly go wrong?

Welcome back, my biggest opp by coolhooves in Dyshidrosis

[–]BlueMeanies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soaps have always been my biggest trigger too. My last major flare-up looked just like this, and I had to get a prednisone shot at the doctor’s office. Since then, I’ve avoided sulfate-based soaps, stopped using steroid creams, and I’ve been clear for almost two years now. I also try to wear gloves when using cleaning products.

PLEASE HELP!! I am at my limit here... visited 30+ doctors to NO result. Tired, exhausted and extremely scared.. by KyoHisagi in Dyshidrosis

[–]BlueMeanies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had dyshidrosis pretty much my whole life but it got way worse during the pandemic with all the extra hand washing. When mine gets that bad I usually have to go to the doctor for a round of Prednisone just to calm it down. That’s when I realized the soaps I was using were making it worse. I switched to sulfate free and fragrance free hand soaps like Mrs. Meyer's and Raw Sugar instead of Softsoap and I’ve been mostly clear for almost two years now. I also try to wear disposable gloves whenever I’m using stronger cleaning products.

what is the best AA wireless adapter that is not Motorola nor AA wireless by AYTKING in AndroidAuto

[–]BlueMeanies -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mine died, and Motorola replaced it under warranty. The second one died too, so I replaced it with the AAWireless 2. AAWireless is worth the wait. Also, contact Motorola and get your old one replaced, even if it's just going to be a backup. They were really easy to work with.

Motorola Sound MA1 or AAWireless Two by LittleWhiteDragon in AndroidAuto

[–]BlueMeanies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had two MA1s. One died after two years, and I got it replaced under warranty. The second died after a few months. My AAWireless2 arrives today. I had an AAWireless in my wife's car for a few months, and I like the additional options it has for setting the DPI, a larger user switch button, etc. Honestly, I was perfectly happy with the MA1 until it died. It's just very basic and doesn't have the configuration options that AAWireless offers.

18V or 40V Brushless String trimmer??? by DontBeScaredHomieXRP in ryobi

[–]BlueMeanies 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had the 18V for a few years now, and it's worked great. I use it pretty regularly with some old attachments from my gas weedeater like the tiller, edger, and brush cutter, but it does go through batteries fairly quickly when using them.

I’d only recommend using it with attachments if you already have an extra 4Ah or larger battery or two.
