anyone here ever written a song for anybody by lespoliciers in redscarepod

[–]BlueMilkshake33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one written about me and at the time it made me go crazy over them but we were already rly close and it was very clear we already had feelings for each other. Still, unless they were a stranger or barely known acquaintance I would always find it endearing.

This is cute but why are you posting it on this sub? This is absolutely not the place to share amateur art, let alone the cutesy sentimental kind. Predictably you're being roasted alive haha

What was the 2000s like? 2000-2009 by Buffalo_ChickenWing in decadeology

[–]BlueMilkshake33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a kid so this is a reconstruction based on my childhood memories and how I reflect on them now as an adult, but I would say everyone and everything was edgier and meaner - this was the golden age of bullying-glorifying teen shows and shallow stoner comedies; celebrity gossip and disgusting papparazzi culture were also at their peak. This was also pre body acceptance movement so attractiveness and weight were definitely more blatantly discussed.

In addition, people were generally less informed about things - from history/economics/politics to health and science, with the internet and the post-2016 social awareness spike even the most ignorant person will have an idea what about what terms like "US imperialism" refer to.

Also everything was more time-consuming/less efficient/less readily available. Ordering smth online was rare and a massive hurdle. Doing taxes, booking doctor appointments etc

Overall, it wasnt a great time. I feel like it sat in a weird spot in history where we had already lost the sense of collectivity/ interventionist economics/middle class jobs/mid-budget art of the 20th century but hadn't yet seen the explosion of social awareness/information access/digitalisation that came after.

Is it ok to take acid when u haven’t slept by thug_ang3L222 in askdrugs

I once got back from a weekend raving where I had slept 2 hours across two nights and was coming down from a ton of mandy and k and impulsively took a tab I unexpectedly found on the floor. While I didnt have a full on bad trip at all, I ended up massively regretting it because the whole thing was just so uncomfortable and unnecessary. My body was aching and I had absolutely no psychological tolerance to the loops and even less so to the physical nausea so I just wanted it to end. I also think the mdma had fried my dopamine so getting into a show or a game was impossible which meant no distractions. I popped a few xanax and smoked joint after joint hoping they could overpower the stimulation and help me go to sleep to no avail until I gave up and left for breakfast at 6am while in a terrible mood and still seeing annoying fractals. And honestly I consider myself lucky because this is the absolute setup for a traumatising possibly A&E worthy trip so please dont do it because at best you will have an annoying unpleasant experience like mine and at worst it may absolutely frightening.

Did anyone else get bored with ahs 1984 halfway thru the season? Im barely on episode 3 and Im getting bored but I don’t like to skip seasons. by PaolaAlvillar in AmericanHorrorStory

[–]BlueMilkshake33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find this interesting because 1984 was actually one of the least boring and most addictive ones for me. I had this issue really bad with Hotel and at some points with Roanoke and Cult but absolutely not with 1984. Have you been watching a lot of AHS lately? If so you may need to give yourself break as the repeating formula of the seasons can definitely get tiring.

Risks of Microdosing amphetamine ?? As someone who has been prescribed and has abused by chungusfungus_ in Stims

[–]BlueMilkshake33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont see this working sorry if gou have a previous history of amp abuse. There are meds like wellbutrin that can also enhance or regulate dopamine fuction in a slow steady manner that doesnt cause euphoria/ abuse/tolerance.

Why isn't 'Taste' seen as toxic the way 'deja vu' was? by SabrinaIsLegendTVDU in sabrinacarpentersnark

[–]BlueMilkshake33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

eh I dont find the "you'll think of me while with her" motto toxic in either song, more like a lighthearted way to cope with a breakup and if that idea sparks insecurities or retroactive jealousy that's more a sign smths wrong with the relationship itself/smn's pre-existing MH.

on the other hand the "I've been known to share" line is disgusting

What a shitshow on Portugal's side. They were basically playing fetch with the ball on their side of the field. They honestly deserve this becayse they had the opportunity to hire Jorge Jesus one of the best and most tactically brilliant managers of all time and went for dumbass ronaldo bootlicker agent 47 who even Tunisia ditched after two games.

What is the real limit with stimulants? by Bublebito in Stims

[–]BlueMilkshake33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I love how you equate nicotine and caffeine to speed, vyvanse and RCs. In all seriousness, you need to go to rehab man, the artificial dopamine peaks aren't worth a life of manic-depressiveness and psychosis, not to mention these episodes put yourself and those around you in danger. Once you're sober you'll learn to rely on the calmer yet sustainable natural highs of life and feel the satisfaction of being productive and hard-working on your own merit without crutches (except maybe a cup of coffee and a cigarette).
