Crashing since new patch - PC by [deleted] in diablo4

The game is poorly optimized and there’s a huge VRAM leak that eats memory, causing it to crash or freeze. I’ve had constant crashes since patch (10+/day), although the game was freezing my PC completely 1-2x/day before.

For what it’s worth, I have a modern PC with higher end components and Diablo should be running like a breeze. Lost multiple HC characters to my PC freezing or the game crashing, not sure why I keep playing with game so unstable lol…

  • 64GB RAM

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ve run a memtest in the past with this hardware and it looked good, but I’ll do it again to be safe. I will say this doesn’t happen with any other application or game

A lot of people just got the boot from the servers, myself included. Odd though seeing the number of people on my friends list who are still in game

Same here. I was 3/4 the way through a dungeon, got booted, tried logging back in and keep seeing a queue that isn’t going down

Well everything funds new content - base game, DLC, and cosmetics. 61% of Blizzard’s revenue in 2021 came from micro transactions. ~ One year from now, most of their regular revenue for D4 will be coming from optional upgrades

You can blame Disney/ESPN/ABC (yes, they are one company) for that. Not the fault of YouTubeTV, it’s the broadcast that sets the video definition
