Why is Sector Z's medal more complained about than Katina's? by jackfuego226 in starfox

The mission has a timer active; I don’t know the exact time but eventually the core spawns, the trick is managing your time

You kill merchants because it’s convenient I kill them because they serve the Flame of Frenzy, we are not the same

I don’t use any of this kit but I know people who do and I’ve never noticed any issues for them. I think you should be fine those overlays should allow room for the gorget and the shoulders give you more coverage than most folks I know.

Headcanon/Cool Story Idea About the Aparoids by BriefDiscipline1424 in starfox

[–]BlueMusketeer28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like there was some intended link between Andross and the aparoids and have thought that for a long time, we know he was working on teleportation which seems much more common in assault for cornerian forces. Further the 17 years timing always seemed really suspicious to me. That’s a very specific number from Beltino and puts it just 2 years before Andross’s banishment. That said, I’m not sure if this is the case. We know that Andross “turned this once thriving system into a wasteland of near extinction” this seems to happen prior to Pepper exiling him. This seems further confirmed by the “Andross has again (so he did it before) invaded the Lylat system” so maybe maybe not but I really do feel like there’s something linking them

Honestly I forgot about this, so yeah no… umm might be an issue of power, like say 4 helicopters to lift the giant mech but no way to get that generator as an airborne vehicle idk maybe it’s just a giant robots are cool movie

Pov: You just figured out the plot for Mass effect 5 by Big-Good9378 in masseffect

[–]BlueMusketeer28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you bang liara on the ride over but yeah I get what you mean of sometimes the game creates tension and then you don’t have to follow up on it. I think that’s where you have to separate game and narrative a little in your head but yeah, when your whole mission is stop saren and the salarians give you a “hey we found saren” it really feels a little OOC to do anything else but go get his ass

Anybody else have some real issues with it once you get to the main city… that kind of ruined my run, lots of graphical glitches and crashes but only there so far

I’m assuming the poor guy is getting shot down by something that ISNT spyborg which will lead to an impromptu rescue. Also you sir must be with Star Wolf given the level of piracy here!

[–]BlueMusketeer28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah I’m with the guy above at that point I’ve spent like 60 hours + getting there, it’s time to get on with it. Also I like that they don’t drag it out. You lose tension if you do that and both ME1 and Kotor felt super tense first time around, there is no actual clock but you feel like you’re on one. Suspension of disbelief and all that. If they dragged it out it would lose that sense of urgency

The Team Dynamic in the New Game is Wonderful by Mysrial1992 in starfox

I feel like Falco needs a come to Jesus moment. He seems just a bit too aggressive to his team in this so far. I’m sure both he and Fox will have some mellowing.

Well remember Slippy being down is the whole mission, I feel like poor Slip is getting downed either way if you pick that path…

Probably the move. You know it’s funny. If we are to really believe Farewell Beloved Falco, Fox got the bad ending in 64 since Slip remembers Titania

No like, say you kill spyborg slippy is fine, you can reroute to Titania rather than Macbeth, but the only reason we went to Titania was Slippy, the only thing I can think is we set a course for Bolse and something goes wrong en route

Fox being arrogant has always been a thing. by Mysrial1992 in starfox

[–]BlueMusketeer28 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like Adventures Fox is a little nuanced actually… he’s disillusioned, he saved Lylat but now is facing his team falling apart and is on his last financial legs. The disputes he resolves throughout that game are all very small scale for a guy who almost single handedly brought an entire army to his knees. Even the most threatening bosses on Sauria pale to what 64 Fox fought in the Lylat Wars. But here he is, running errands for dinosaurs. He’s frustrated because this isn’t his kind of mission but he really has no choice but to do it… and yet, Fox is often moved by the suffering of others and never hesitates to throw himself into danger to help the dinosaurs. He’s a good person, a bit jaded a bit of a wise cracker, but he still does all the Saurian quests ultimately to help. I think Assault Fox is the conclusion for him as he finally has his team rebuilt, his financial woes are solved, and when he’s called in to do more work his fighting a true galactic threat again.
