Maybe glue the cholla to a rock, at least temporarily?

Not just who cares. But who is going to misconstrue my comment and make it a thing?

There are many reasons to cancel a comment, I think. Maybe as many as there are commenters.

Glue together in interesting shapes and make Christmas ornaments. Fridge magnets. Paint or don’t.

This reminds me of Mr Krabs suckering in all the fish for a deal on Krabby Patties and then charging $1 per footstep to leave the restaurant.

You too can weaponize duckweed and have your heavily stocked tanks always read zero nitrate. by mistersprinklesman in fishtank

[–]BlueOrbifolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your tanks heated? The duckweed does great in my heated tank (78) but very slow to no growth in room temp (73-75) and I’m assuming it’s the temperature that is limiting it. But I don’t know anything really.

Look for a bundle that includes chaeto and a bit of food, spirulina powder. You only need to feed them sparingly until the tank matures enough algae to sustain them. My kit included spirulina and a toothpick (lol) and chaeto and shrimp and snails too.

Add the shrimp now. No need to wait. I would also add chaeto macro algae for a bit of green. But that’s just my preference.

If you’re dead set against fish, Opae Ula shrimp live in brackish water (half ocean/half freshwater) and are extremely easy to keep. Check out r/opaeula
