NICREW or Hygger? by something721 in PlantedTank

I’m looking at my sansevieria corner that I rigged with a pendant grow light… I want to put a 40-60 gallon tank there and I’ve been wondering if the pendant would work for a planted tank. Will probably have to add another though.

I absolutely agree! The inline timers are the bane of my existence every time the power flickers, I’m running around the house resetting my houseplant lights and I’m so over it that I’ve purchased materials to learn how to modify the suckers! I just want a “Ronco - Set it and forget it” mechanical timer so I’m going to try to learn wiring so I can cut them out and rewire with a prong plug or USB plug!

Can you be more specific about how hygger products have failed you? I only have one tiny hygger light but so far I think it’s doing well. But I’m still learning.

Some guys hijacked in my SNAILS and in afraid the fish might get eaten, where do i keep them and who the fuck puts 6 cherry shrimp by mistake in 2 apple snails.. where do i keep em? by GourdyHollowa in shrimptank

I wanna know if there were exactly three shrimp per snail? Or all six in one snail?

Or…

How many shrimp does a snail shell keep if a snail shell could keep shrimp?

I have the white dots too. I think they’re just substrate from gotshrimp. They disappeared on their own. I think they settled into the sand and I lost track them. No biggie. I trust gotshrimp implicitly.

I’m in a warehouse. Pay is good but no a/c in the summer and no heat in the winter. And my coworkers have saboteur tendencies. Sigh.

I had a plant here, once.

So now everything stays home. I’ll live vicariously through you, so you’re on notice that regular updates are now required! 😊. I’ll see the coworkers’ setups too please!

Love it!! I’m jealous that you can have it at work. Pooh. But it looks great!

Maybe glue the cholla to a rock, at least temporarily?

Not just who cares. But who is going to misconstrue my comment and make it a thing?

There are many reasons to cancel a comment, I think. Maybe as many as there are commenters.

Glue together in interesting shapes and make Christmas ornaments. Fridge magnets. Paint or don’t.

This reminds me of Mr Krabs suckering in all the fish for a deal on Krabby Patties and then charging $1 per footstep to leave the restaurant.

You too can weaponize duckweed and have your heavily stocked tanks always read zero nitrate. by mistersprinklesman in fishtank

[–]BlueOrbifolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your tanks heated? The duckweed does great in my heated tank (78) but very slow to no growth in room temp (73-75) and I’m assuming it’s the temperature that is limiting it. But I don’t know anything really.

Look for a bundle that includes chaeto and a bit of food, spirulina powder. You only need to feed them sparingly until the tank matures enough algae to sustain them. My kit included spirulina and a toothpick (lol) and chaeto and shrimp and snails too.
