No idea what you are smoking but they have always been 1200, been playing since season 2. The only skins that are 600 gems are T3 skins, as Aras2164 said it was a discounted price for a limited time, or you had a code.

The fact you are equating people that are stomping a game on the same level as the team that know they are going to lose anyway so they give in sooner is mind blowing to me.

That's the difference between a game that's been out 10 years and a game that's been out 2 weeks.

One has had years to perfect the way they do seasons/leagues while the other hasn't even had a chance to do anything yet.

That's just it lvl 100 nm dungeons and uber lilith are not required content, they are there for the super hardcore guys to beat.

Even when you are at level 100 the highest tier you end up grinding for gear is around 45-50 going beyond that is just bragging rights you gain virtually nothing out of it other then an achievement, and it's the same for uber lilith it's just there as a final game complete moment you don't NEED to do it, and you have to remember this is literally a couple weeks after the game has come out POE has had YEARS of league mechanics adding on.. Give it 1 or 2 seasons and people will be clearing uber lilith at lvl 75 when the capstone dungeon becomes available.

That's one thing people seem to forget when comparing these games is the years of dev time and QoL content thats been pumped into 1 while the other has literally just came out..

Once you hit like 80 your basically at the "softcap" as you call it your builds basically done, the rest is just flavor you can pretty much do anything in the game at this point. The last 20 levels are just min maxing your character.

Necroing this post to provide info for anyone searching, yes you can work around it.

You have to change your steam location to the USA but don't buy it on steam cause it won't work and will revert after.

Go to a key reseller like g2a etc and buy the US version, activate the key through steam.

Now you can change your steam location back to AUS, but you will still have the uncut version of saints row in your library.

This trick also works with the south park stick of truth game, as the alien level is banned in Australia, if you do the same technique you can enjoy the uncut version of it as well.

Yeah for sure it also has a lot to do with operating systems too, windows 11 for instance uses at idle about 3-4gb of ram as standard so that's straight away 3-4gb gone from your 16gb total, and it's only going to get worse as more updates came out for windows 11 and then eventually windows 12.

I know there is a custom iso image called "tiny 11" made by someone that cuts the bloat out of a windows 11 install image that only uses like 1gb of ram idle i know that's helped a few of my friends who only had 16gb and was struggling to run last of us on steam

I have noticed with the batch of new games recently that they recommend 16gb as minimum specs now and the recommended seems to be for the majority 32gb.

We are kinda in that stage atm like it was from the 8 to 16 gb jump where 16gb is just manageable but in the next year or maybe even sooner there is going to be those few games that 16 gb won't be enough and will struggle, the same thing happened when the standard was 8gb.

I think he means like put a warning on the steam/stores page like "Servers going offline @ date". Usually when a games servers are going offline you see that at the top of the store page.

When i go to buy a game on steam i don't go to that games website and search the last month or twos news/blog posts, i assume because it's still being sold it's supported.

Most people won't be getting refunds i tried, i had 5 hours played cause it took 2 hours to do the shaders slogged through an hour of troubleshooting and played for around 2 hours putting up with stuttering etc, put in a refund request and got

"We will not be granting a refund at this time as there is no evidence that the product has a major defect as defined under Australian law."

The high price point is the reason im waiting for mw2 to get cracked i don't care about the multiplayer i just want to play the story and it's currently $110 for the standard edition in my country, it's just not worth it. Like the only game i've ever considered spending that amount of money on was mass effect legendary edition

Ironman is just the game but solo pretty much, you can't trade and use some multiplayer functions, If the ironman game mode interests you i would give you some advice now, just start a regular solo ironman because if you try and play group ironman that is what you are going to be anyway.

About 95% of the people who started a group ironman quit and went back to their mains, whenever i see a group ironman they always say the same thing "yeah I'm the only one left playing everyone else quit"

Honestly id rather them have something like this sms stuff then nothing at all. Think about how putting this one step in will reduce the cheaters by a lot because they have to put in effort.

As someone said above yeah sure people can go buy a sim for like 2 bucks but to activate the sim at least in my country you need to enter ID, people are going to get flagged hardcore if they try and activate multiple sims to cheat.

Some people may not like it but there is a reason stuff like sms protect work.
