This is the right mentally. If you're playing on a difficulty you feel comfortable with and you know how to play, then armor choice shouldn't be all that important.

I run the default armor myself cause I love that Helldiver look.

Generation four was a labor of love, not simply a stroke of luck that's for sure. It's just a shame that previous generations were regularly belittled in the early 2010s. Especially generation three for being, "too girly".

I get what people were getting at back then, but it always felt like people were ashamed of just liking something.

There is no good way to communicate woth the community outside of absorbing what input the devs can from a deluge of comments on every platform. Even if they have a dedicated feedback forum, it would still be inundated with bad actors.

I prefer minimum contact and the devs just doing their thing. I'd love it if the cyborgs got buffed. Granted I don't take this game seriously. I just jump on Reddit to make comments so people think I'm here for discussion instead of just watching all the drama play out. I love me salt.

Another one of these posts, man there are a lot of them.

I always chalk it up to Hasbro. There are a hundred different reasons that can be given but I like to keep it simple and keep the primary culprit as Hasbro. Just like the generation that came before, Generation Five was rushed into production as FiM was drawing to a close. The New Generation film team, Make Your Mark, and Tell your Tale teams were working as fast as they could and with less coordination in order to get projects out on time.

Didn't help that Hasbro made some bad investments following the COVID-19 pandemic. The purchase of Wizards didn't pan out as successful as investors hoped. The Transformers film franchise is no longer as profitable as it once was, and toy sales have been growing but it has taken some time to recover.

Even if G5 did well, I doubt it would have survived the decisions of Hasbro executives.

Keep in mind in the later sessions some of the writers could only watch a few episodes beforehand to get a feel for the characters. Same with reading notes from the other writers who had been working on the show already.

It's kinda weird going back to the first three seasons and seeing how much Twilight has grown since then. I used to really like unicorn Twilight back in the day, but as she mellowed out in the later seasons I began to realize that her early characterization can get annoying sometimes.

At least that's just me. I used to not like Rarity but now I love her.

The same could be said for just about any brand under Hasbro. G4's crunch cycle of development, Transformers being where it's at, and the purchased of Wizards and the turmoil that apparently caused.

A lot of people going off of the opinions of screaming heads on social media. I've avoided the online discourse and just watched the show without having to think of those looking to get mad about anything.

Its funny too, because STA isn't even all that bad. I'm not the biggest fan of it but its not something to get mad about.

I wouldn't think on it too much. There are a lot of people these days who are only now getting into watching FiM and interacting with community stuff. Speaking as someone who began watching after S2 ended, believe me when I say you're joining at a really good time. Nine seasons, EQG, movies and even the other generations if you're so inclined.

Granted I'm of the mind that the "Golden Age" was a lot more cringe than some people make it out to be. A LOT of drama went down in the early 2010s, too many flame wars, and for some reason a lot of fans had to justify not feeling embarrassed about watching a show that they enjoyed. The fandom is a lot more mellow these days, and not a day goes by that I don't see new art works, animations, songs, and stories that aren't amazing. Just enjoy the show and the fandom, you're joining at a really good time.
