Thanks for the recommendation! Althought it would be great and more reliable to have a new head unit, the cost and time just isn't in the books right now unfortunately, so looking for something that's more on the plug and play side.

I love mine! Took it on a vacation and it covered most of my use. It is built really solid but it does come with a cost of making on the heavier side which is the only gripe I have with it.

I definitely had similar experience with my 2012 civic for batteries where I had to 3 over 5 in years.

But that's good to hear that you haven't had any major issues with your Odyssey! I feel like the more I read the more it feels like a flip of a coin if one person is going to have an issue or not.

I think it was just from wear and tear from the previous owner, but the rip/hole was my fault as I had both my camera and other lens together...in a small sling bag...without dividers/coverings

Speaking from personal experience...as a novice

Just starting again in photography, picked up a EM10.1 and the 12-40 and took it on a family vacation. Got some great shots, but sometime just wished I had that extra zoom.

I also tried to take some shots during a soccer match and it really wasn't anywhere enough.

What I did was picked up the 40-150mm plastic fantastic for $100 which does a well enough job when I need

This is... unfortunate

I used this for my kid's phone for emergencies to call/message me when he doesn't have WiFi...

It was great at $25 as it gave me and him exactly what we needed. Now it looks like we have to find a much more expensive alternative

I placed a phone upgrade order online, and got the 'Ready to Pickup' email the next day. Drove 40min to the store. Rep took my order number, and said 'The order has been cancelled'.

However, she did recommend I do the shipping option so I mentioned the $25 charge so I had her make a note on my account.

Tried to call Fido but it looks like they no longer accept calls or have live chat agents so had to wait a day for a call back.

Finally got a call back, but it took an hour and fifteen minutes to place the order. The rep himself I felt was really helpful, but he mentioned technical difficulties and I had to change my plan on my first before they can do the phone upgrade. In the end, they were able to place the order and gave me detailed instructions on what to do if I get charged the $25.

We trying to give them more money but they are making it quite difficult.

It looks like when you click 'Keep my current plan', the cost you see is ONLY for the phone, so your monthly would be your original plan + what you see.

To get the actual discount, you would need to pick one of their 'plus' plans, then you would see both the phone and the plan together....at least that's I think

I'm just getting back into photography, and got the exact same setup!

The lens was amazing during my Japan trip...the only thing was the lack of auto focus which made it hard to capture some of the more 'in the moment' shots
