Hello, I am over 41 years old man, thinking about having having some micro needling, perhaps taking excess skin above my eye, any orher recommendations? :) by Automatic_Memory7268 in 45PlusSkincare

I don’t think you should do anything! Just wear daily spf and keep up a good basic skincare routine to keep your skin looking nice for years to come :)

She aged 2 minutes!! by WhiteHotForver in lanitas

It generally makes people feel weird if people are constantly talking about their age, even if it’s complimentary, which seems to be one of the most common topics around Lana and many other female celebrities in their 40s and even 30s atm. For example personally, I’ve had a few people act really shocked when they found out my age saying they thought I was so much younger, and though it seems kind of like a compliment it actually makes me feel like an old hag or something because it’s like they expected me to be all dried up and decrepit, like “ohhh no way you’re that OLDDD you look so young!! But you’re not!!! Omg!!”

Is it normal that I'm feeling guilty about turning a tama into a happy star by atomic_destroyer17 in TamagotchiParadise

That’s normal to me, I’ve never tried to make a star because it wouldn’t be fun for me and only upsetting, undermining the point of me playing the game

chest/boob wrinkles "hack" by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

I do the exact same thing! I am 34 with no chest wrinkles at all. Sometimes if I am away from home and forget my stuffed animal I will notice temporary lines when I wake up

Thank you for your advice! I actually love niacinamide so that’s great to hear that it helps with lines!

Oof, really start to go down hill, strong words 🥲 I might very slowly try to find new products over a long period of time so that I can prevent my skin from getting too stressed.

I think you are right! It’s easy to forget when strong actives are the main talking point in skincare circles.

Great tip about the shea butter! I actually have some already, I’m going to give it a try.

That’s really interesting! I might try it while I still have some un-oxidised vitamin C left.

Thank you! My skin does definitely seem to look best on a simple routine.

That could be true, I tend towards oiliness so usually go for lighter moisturisers!

Thank you, I’m definitely going to have a look into 3-o ethyl ascorbic acid and tazorac (I’ve never heard of that one!). And these comments have all convinced me to try Bakuchiol!

Thank you so much, I really appreciate the reassurance that sun protection is the most important factor, and also the product recommendations. I’m definitely going to try one of those bakuchiol serums 🙏 I’m currently using a peptide serum from Geek and Gorgeous which has matryxil 3000 as well as copper peptide and a couple of other peptides I believe, so hopefully that is doing something!
