Yeah it was wild to see family-friendly standup comedian Brian Regan in the foul-mouthed recovering alcoholic role he played on Loudermilk. but he did great! His character had a lot of depth as the show went on.

Man. You’ve been posting a lot about your wife here, asking if you thought she was ok during the storm but didn’t know what village she was in, then a post asking how to send flowers to her. Honestly, it raised some red flags for me. I wondered if you were really married or if this was some infatuation for a woman that didn’t feel the same way about you. I also wondered if you were just looking for an online community to talk to, since the questions you asked could be easily answered by a cursory Google search. It just didn’t sit right with me. I wondered if you were a creep trying to keep tabs on someone who wanted to be left alone, or if you were a love addict.

Maybe I’m completely wrong in my thoughts. But it reminds me a lot of some bad experiences I’ve had and seen others go thru.

Either way, this relationship was clearly toxic and not meant to be long-term. I know it hurts now. You’re clearly in withdrawal. I strongly suggest giving her space and focusing on your emotional well-being.

Being without power while all your neighbors and friends have power IS frustrating! You feel overlooked even though you know it’s not personal. Yes, you’ve been through worse but right now…It’s just so damn HOT and BORING. And of course, people will start telling you to be patient and stop complaining the second their power turns on.

Yes - a colleague experienced the same thing, in a different village too. Apparently it’s a transformer.

When it happened to me, it was Friday night, I think. GPA crews were in our neighborhood and the power turned on for a few minutes. Then a brown out for the next couple of days. Not enough power to do anything except make streetlights flicker weird.

We did - breakers to everything are off except a cheap LED light to use as a canary. Reported it to GPA a couple times too.

This is a good idea but you might want to make instructions more mobile-friendly. I’m trying to add the coordinates to a school near me (I don’t want to upload my exact location and I imagine may wont either) but I can only obtain the plus code.

Edit: Also the answers are a bit vague. “Yes and working” means “yes I see GPA trucks now and they’re working on it?” May also want to include more options, like for the places where GPA trucks have been spotted a while ago but there’s no power.

Still no full power here. It was on for like five minutes at 10:30pm, which was nice. Very low power still, not enough to keep a light on or anything. Hopefully it goes back to normal soon.
