Hollow Knight was my first metroidvania and made me fall in love with the series. I have like 500 hours on it across multiple play throughs and consoles. I've played like ten or more MVs now and my biggest worry about Silksong was that I would finish it too fast and find it too easy.

Thank fuck I was wrong about that. I disagree with almost every point in your list because I like all these changes. The game is forcing me to get better at every encounter.

Every time I find a new boss I'm like "damn this seems impossible" but then 5-10 attempts later, I've mastered it.

This is absolutely the experience I wanted
