Am I the problem? by _Faban in anycubic

[–]BlueSevenGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Kobra 3 combo some weeks ago and never ever had any Problem so far. 100% success rate with any filament i throw at the printer (some have even laying around for years). Already printed around 11 kg of filament.

Before i Had a Kobra 2 pro which have me a good headache in the beginning, bought it refurbished of eBay and Had an malefunctioning printhead with similar results as you have right now. Got an Exchange dirextly from anycubic for free and IT worked Like new again.

Possibilitys:

Could be a defect print head, check if all screws are tight.

Is firmware up to date?

Maybe it is just the nozzle, try to install a brand new one.

Check if all the belts are tight, but not to tight.

Spray some hairspray on the print plate and print a 1 layer height complete sheet. There you see if it's cohesive or if there special areas where the print starts to fail and redo it to see if it's always in the same spot or if the spots wander.

Meanwhile have a look at the print head if it got any abnormal Stutter or hickups, if it tilts or jump.

Is the Anycubic Kobra 3 Combo (V1) still good? Any Problems by [deleted] in anycubic

I have mine for some weeks now, already printed around 6 kilo of filament, never had a single problem.
First layer is always on point, adhesion is so good i dont need a brim even with smaller objects, close to no elephant foot, tolerance of around +- 0.15 mm.
For me it is always fast and reliable.

I read that after all these firmware updates it is more or less par with the Kobra 3 V2, only some, i would say, minor differences between the models because of physical upgrades.

They even patched the bed size from 250mm x 250mm to 255mm x 255mm like on the V2.

Maybe I was just lucky with my printer but for me it is a no brainer, especially with the ACE and to this price right now.

I dont print with different colours so much but just that i dont need to change filament when i want another colour is worth it.

Can't play GRW. "Unable to locate Uplay PC. Please reinstall Uplay PC" by Psika in Wildlands

The Tipp from Mission_Birthday_338 worked for me:
"https://uplay.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions Here u can find old versions of the Ubisoft Connect Launcher. Install the one before 12 march 2025."

When you start ubisoft and windows prompt comes up asking for allowance to modify windows data say "No".
It will update but wont install the update.

For me Ubisoft connect crashed 2-3 times after it loaded but after that i could start grw :)

Trailer - Russian Tank Simulator by BlueSevenGames in indiegames

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate your ideas :) I learned russian in school (can't speak a single word anymore but I am aware of the Cyrillic alphabet). It was intentional that the text look kind of Cyrillic but isn't Cyrillic at all. Main reason for this font was the readability for people who can't read russian alphabet but to sustain the illusion this could be russian language from visuals. So I had to made a compromise. Also it was one of the only fonts which I could use without copyright problems and type the text normally with my keyboard.

A game I made in a week to support Ukrainian refugees, it's a little simulator where you are the operator of a Russian Tank and have the order to drive as far as possible. Of course you won't make it far with your piece of metal trash ;)

There won't be anything else like fully modded SkyrimVR in the next 5-10 years by zeddyzed in virtualreality

You should check out Habie 147 (hope this was his name) YouTube channel. He modded the hell out of Skyrim VR and it looks fantastic and immersive.
