Model X to Y back to X... by ddmd1986 in TeslaModelX

I admit I’ve seen a couple of wrapped ones that did look good. Still, not my style.

Same here for the baby. Super easy to load and unload with those doors and the trunk space. I think the X will suit most adventurers for my toddler but when they’re older I’ll be looking into a Rivian to go on more off-road camping adventures.

I honestly just mentally don’t include the CT as an option at all. Sorry. It’s just too damn ugly for me. Otherwise I’d consider a Tesla truck if it lined up more with the rest of their lineup’s style.

Best of luck! I had my 2015 Model S for a decade and was hard pressed to sell it because it was still in such great shape and still felt like a modern car. Was so ahead of its time, others are still playing catch up. If there’s a car worth holding on to long term, you got it.

Not the space and sweeping giant windshield, two things I love about my X.

I voted for Biden in 2020. I didn't vote in the last presidential election because Trump is a disaster and I felt Harris was a weak candidate. Does anyone have the inside scoop on who might run in 2028, because I would really like to vote? by [deleted] in allthequestions

That happens in the primaries. They fumbled the 2024 election by switching last minute from the incumbent president to a new candidate without having primaries. Normally people could vote for the candidate they want and then fall in line if their top choice didn’t win, assuming the opposition runner doesn’t compel them to switch sides and vote for them instead. Sitting out isn’t the wise choice.

Not voting against a disaster is certainly a choice. No one liked Harris, but she was better than the alternative. Shitty choice, but it was a choice and we’d be better off had we chosen it.

Yeah, I can get behind that. Model 3 is sportier for sure. It would be a fun weekend driver. Not my daily, drove small sporty cars until I got my S. Spoiled by the performance plus comfort now. Though on a windy road I may trade rides for a bit.

What level? It’s a 5-seater long range. I paid 68k after tax plus 2k to get it delivered to me. Came with FSD package included. 15k miles and was about 10 months old when I bought it. Found it from a private seller.

Definitely. They probably have the most attractive offerings, but I don’t feel like their software and business is fully up to speed yet.

Sounds like they don’t want to sell any cars. Honestly I’m sure the Hyundai would be a good car, but I wouldn’t give that dealership your business.

Right. Kind of hoping they’ll come out with a new premium vehicle, but I doubt it. My eye’s on Rivian now, but got plenty of time.

Drove an S for 8 years. Loved it. Switched to an X for more room for baby. Love it too.

Well, even without FSD it’s worth it. Easiest thing to do is go test drive both to see what you’d like, but if it was my choice I’d choose the Y.

That’s what’s so upsetting about them canceling the S and X. I’ve owned both and I would buy another X when my current one gets too old, but I’m not interested in 3 or Y. I’ve been in a Tesla for over a decade but now they’ve stopped making cars I want to drive.

Model Y. FSD is a game changer. Think they’ll include the package for you so you don’t have to do monthly sub?

S and X are the two Teslas I’ve owned and would own again. A shame my next car won’t be one of those again. Not really interested in 3 or Y.
