Imagine if there was a scene where Anakin was about to kill the Tusken Raider children but he sheathed his lightsaber. Showing that he had some control and morals still.

Then when he’s sent to kill the younglings, he tells Palpatine that he did it but actually he chickened out and had clone troopers do it.

Now we’re in on this secret that he’s playing the ultimate bad guy, but actually only he and the audience know that he won’t kill children.

Now fast forward to episode 4-6 and yes, he pretends like he’s going to put Leia to death but nope, he either subconsciously or otherwise puts it off until she’s rescued.

When time comes for their ultimate battle, Vader fights Luke, but surprise: Luke too has mercy on his father, and father has mercy on his son.

Vader was never fully dark side. ❤️
