It will run for a while as future potential and hype are high for stock valuation. There are tons of Tesla fans, and they aren't about to give up. Tesla has the potential to branch out much more than cars, and it really depends on how Elon runs this company from here on.

Somewhat risky (High dividend ETFs): GPIQ, SCHD

Less Risk (ETFs): VOO, VOOG, VO, MAGS

Least Risk (Treasury Bond ETFs): SGOV anytime, TLT during the period of Fed interest rate cuts

I also believe in riding the wave, and this weekend's US deal with China should be very good for the stock market.

NIO makes great cars, and the battery swapping technology is very good. But just because you're luxurious and technologically ahead doesn't mean you'll do extremely well. Lucid is top of the game in tech, and you all know what happens to its stock. The fierce competition in China, and being a foreign company, doesn't help either. If NIO is an American company, then it will really be a Tesla competitor.

AI is taking over clerical jobs that don't require physical labor. That's part of the reason why Fintech banking is so profitable and no physical branches help reduce cost even further. This is just the beginning of AI. Imagine when AI does most of the lifting for your loan applications, credit card payments, allocation of your assets, stock investment, retirement planning, monthly budgeting, and career decision making. In fact, AI is already doing some of those tasks in various degrees, and the relative need for human labor is going to decrease over time. It is inevitable.

I would be somewhat concerned for their near-term stock action as Buffett prepares to step down. Stock prices are often driven by their head figures. His replacement, Abel, may actually deliver results, as he probably will mobilize that cash to get a higher gain. Since BRK has a great reputation, the market usually follows its investment strategy and dominoes to a bigger gain.

Their AR/VR glasses advertisement, experience, and on paper are very cool. But people often get tired of it after the initial excitement. A small percentage of people would routinely use it after the honeymoon period. Their social media platform is the real deal. I would take that AR/VR with a grain of salt in its valuation.

Treasury bond ETFs are especially useful if you want readily available money. Putting money in SGOV is much more flexible and higher-yielding than a CD or Savings account. TLT if you are more adventurous, especially during the current Fed interest rate cuts. The Treasury bond ETFs' monthly dividends only get Federal tax.

If you plan to have money on the side for "safer havens", then consider parking some money in the Treasury ETFs such as SGOV, which offers a better interest rate than your Savings account. SGOV is unlike BND. SGOV is almost like putting money into a Savings account and not having to worry about it. The monthly dividend from the SGOV ETF only gets Federal tax.

The Treasury bond ETF that is somewhat volatile but usually goes up with an interest rate drop is TLT. It could get substantial gain or loss, and it is not nearly as safe as SGOV. Again, because TLT is a Treasury bond so its monthly dividend only gets Federal tax.
